92 VE 5-speed lots of mods $4000

I am lowering the price.

For $4k, I am not including the wheels and tires pictured (car in my signature), but the stock sawblades instead. All of the other mods will stay with the car, though.

link to previous FS thread

The only thing wrong is the VTCs tick. JDM engine installed by Jeff92SE fall of 2004. All hoses, gaskets and seals were replaced, along with the water pump. AC, CC, all power stuff works. Recent alignment.

The private party KBB for this car is $3000. The mods are easily worth a few thousand more. Eibach/Tokicos, Fidanza/ACT, UDP, GReddy exhaust, Cattman y-pipe, nice stereo.

Also includes a set of four studded snow tires mounted on steel wheels.

pm or email me at max12301@yahoo.com

I sent you a PM. It has a link to a site with a bunch of pics, since I don't want to sit in front of my computer forever while an email uploads the same pics.

Oregon has no tax of any kind for buying/selling cars. All we have are license and title fees for those in the state.

My VTCs clack when the car is cold and sometimes clack intermittently. Do some checking through the 3rd gen stickies and stuff, there is a LOT of info on them. My guess is probably somewhere around 50-60 percent of the VE owners on this board either have clacking VTCs or have rebuilt/replaced them.

you know, I should do a poll, just to see...

I will include a copy of the magazine, along with some others (C&D, Motor Trend) I have featuring the VE 5-speed when the car was new.

I'm not playing when i say i am interested. I'll be honest with you though won't have the bread till the end of January! so if you want to talk money lets talk!

wheels are sold.

they were 17x7 ADR with 225/45/17 tires.

Hey Loco, if you check this thread, I am going to put the snow tires on it. It's legal now and I might drive the Max if we get some ice. I have a Tundra, but I don't want to spend $$ for studded snow tires for it.

OT?

Maybe you are thinking of OIT, which is in Klamath Falls, way down in southern Oregon.

I live in The Dalles, about an hour or so east of Portland, along the Columbia River. You can see the river behind my car in the pic below.

I have pics linked all over, but I will throw in a couple here:

with snow tires mounted

front seats

rear seats

GReddy exhaust

engine

I also have the full CAI piping to go below the headlight and a spare valve cover with the red Nissan 3000 logo

I don't think you would have much need for the studded snow tires

Yeah, it's too bad Florida isn't closer. I would like to go there again.

I visited St. Augustine when I was a kid. I remember an old fort and some kind of old jail? My mom is originally from Jacksonville and my grandparents lived there before they passed away.

Way to lowball the guy. 40% discount? He spent more than that buying the JDM engine and having it put in.

ummm...no way

it's probably one of the nicer VE 5-speeds on this board.

If you want to buy one for $2500 search craigslist for a stock one and mod it yourself. Otherwise, save up the money and get mine.

Sounds sorta kinky - I say run with it.

Sorry, having a bored moment.
But seriously, you don't really get to behold the fury of the "azz chewing demon" until she becomes pregnant. Think normal PMS, then multiply by about... 50

...or another way to look at it... thinking your VG automatic is supah fast, and then driving a VE 5spd

BUMP for Clavin

I have been through the pregnant wife thing. I have a 6 year-old son.

selling the car isn't that big of a deal. I already have permission to buy a new toy, I just have to sell the Max first. I still like it. If it doesn't sell, I am taking it to Seattle next month for the big Golden Gardens meet (huge Nissan event with tons of sweet rides).

For now I have to keep it. I am selling my Tundra and I need the Max to get to work. I don't know when I might put it up for sale. Just kind of depends on what else I buy or what my wife lets me buy.

Also, I need to fix the door latch. Right now the passenger front door won't open. It should be fixed soon, though.
