2002 Nissan Maxima $7500 Must sell

2002 Nissan Maxima SE FINAL PRICE $7500. Cheapest around. The car is white and is in decent condition. The car has 113k (high, but runs super strong). I just recently brought the car but Im selling it to buy either a 6th gen or a c5Corvette. I havent beat on the car, and spoke to the previous owner who used it to travel across Florida. The car has new $800 tires on it. The only issue with the car was that it had a slipping tranny which seems to be common on the 5th gens. However the transmission has been replaced with a newer unit (15k miles) and now shifts like butter. The car also has some dings on it (hood from highway) and a minor 12inch long scrape on the driverside rear. I brought the car for $10300 and since has replaced the tranny. THE CAR IS IN FORT MYERS FLORIDA

Do you have any interior shot from a distance? also a whole car shot
from both sides? Was the tranny put in by Nissan?

The transmission wasnt put in by Nissan. I had it put in with extended warrenty by a local transmission shop.I didnt want to take it to Nissan and have the mechanic tell me that theirs nothing wrong. The shop that put it in told me that the new tranny had less than 30k on it, and now it shifts perfectly. Its really a non issue to me,its more of a blessing to have a newer tranny in. And anyone is free to have the car inspected. I recently had the front wheel bearings replaced, and the shop said that the car is in perfect order.

How much oil does the engine burn at this point, every 3-4k miles?

Even though I hate white cars, I'm still considering it but just don't have any time to get down to FL from Memphis....

BTW, where's the shot w/the foot long scrape/dent? Couldn't see it in the prior pics? Is it that scuff at the driver side corner or am I just not seeing it?

Thanks buddy...

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...1/000_0060.jpg shows the scrape, it actually kind of blends in with the body style.

Honestly I havent noticed any oil buring, I check the oil every 1000 miles or so, and havent seen any kind of loss.
This car is clean and stock, no problems.

Has the 100K mile service been done? (timing belt, water pump, etc) I am interested in the car, but it is kind of far from me. Can you PM me and let me know if you are willing to work on the price a bit, I might just fly down there and drive it back home if we can work something out.

Go with the C5, you won't regret it. I just sold mine in Sept. to pay for school, as soon as I get a real job after finishing, I'll be definitely getting one again. Also, get a 2001 or higher. Good luck with the Maxima sale...

Thats a pretty good price, but FL is just too far for me to buy, I always have to see the car in person before committing to anything. Good luck with the sale.

Maybe you should try autotrader.com. I'm sure you'll get plenty of people's attention with that price.

I guess if you haven't been around the internet long, you wouldn't be used to scammers. Not saying you are one, however if I were interested, I'd insist on seeing the car in person before any payment.
