Try craigslist...there are plenty of cheap used maximas for sale by their owners.

This will take you a while. It took me 4 months to find one in the greater Boston area. (Although mine had to have leather, bose, automatic climate control, and had to be a 5 spd) If i were you...open up your colors to dark green and dark blue. There are plenty of them out there just keep your eyes open and ACT FAST!!! These cars go within a matter of hours after being posted.

When I bought my car, I was the first one to look at it...it had been on the lot for only a couple of days. I put down a deposit after negotiating a lower price because the salesman figured that it was a manual and they usually stayed on the lots longer than an auto so we made a deal and I bought the car within 30 mins of seeing it. When we went to pick up the car 4 days later, the salesman told me that he was having numerous calls every day...even from a 18 year old girl who wanted to drive a standard for her first car. The black/black combo is in a very high demand so act quick and if you find a car you like....get it!

I have a Rosewood '97 SE 5 speed with 143,000 miles in it.

Options include:
Heated Leather
Climate Control
Bose
Power Seats

I think it pretty much has every available option for that year.

It has a nearly brand new set of Kumho's and the clutch was replaced at 130,000. I also just replaced the tranny fluid with Redline MT90 about 1,000 miles ago.

It runs like a top and still continues to deliver 28mpg consistently.
