FS: Tuned 1993 Maxima VE 5-Spd-$3500 OBO
1993 Nissan Maxima SE 5-Spd For Sale. It's a 3.0 liter V6 24-valve dual overhead cam with front wheel drive. Stock horsepower is 190 but with modifications, it's pushing 220 (never dynoed). It has over 200k miles but it's still fast, fun to drive, and sounds really mean. It's maroon with black leather interior and power everything. It also has a sunroof, tint, spoiler, clear corner lights, and an aftermarket Alpine cd player. Modifications include full exhaust, intake, lightened crank pulley, remapped ecu, short shifter, performance springs and struts (lowered 1.5"). As many of you know, the engine is a rare version (VE) that was only made from 92-94. The oil has been changed regularly and the engine is still strong and will go another 50k. The car has normal wear and tear, some rust but very minimal. It has never been raced. Price includes 17" Enkei performance wheels with brand new Yokohama rubber (as seen) and stock 15" with winter tread. It has a clear title and an extensive list of service done. The hood has been repainted flat black. Buyer to arrange pick-up. Car is located in Salt Lake City
Must see and drive
Price is negotiable

Just in case anyone was wondering, I'm selling it because I needed something all-wheel drive to get up the canyons, so I got a Saabaru '05 9-2x Aero. I got sick of throwing the chains on. I'll miss the max
I have a 94 gxe myself, but i've seen 94 SE's go for 1k on craigslist (prob "wheels sold separately" kinda thing). not sure if a 93 is worth 3500, even with modifications d=/.
i do have to say that the 3rd gen engines last a long darn time. unfortunate, everything else wont.
being that the car is probably in great condition and ur probably gonna only get around 2500 for it, you might want to keep it as a backup car (if you have parking for it). im plannin on keeping my max around in case i need parts for my newer car (wish i had a second car to get parts for my max now). maybe have ur kids drive it and make them appreciate a new car d=P.
