FS: 1993 SE 5speed black/black leather, MOTM
Time to sell the car. 1993 SE (ve30de engine) 5speed Super black with black leather.
185k miles on the car.
I've owned the car since late 1999 and it's been a very nice and reliable car, but it was time for me to move on.
It's been through different stages of mods so here's what's currently on the car:
eibach springs/kyb shocks
addco rear sway bar
courtesy nissan strut tower brace (back when they still made them for VEs)
Warpspeed stainless steel Y pipe and stillen pop charger* these are not on the car, but are in the garage and I can put them back on before the sale
pacesetter short shifter
AE maxima shift ****
joshua tree carbon fiber dash kit
carbon fiber gauge bezel
automatic, digital climate control (not available on US SE's)
heads-up display - shines speed onto windshield (not available on any SE's)
keyless entry, keyless trunk pop
warpspeed catalytic converter
UK hazard switch
Other big things I've replaced:
both control arms and bushings
clutch, pressure plate and t/o bearing - stock nissan stuff from Courtesy (not key value crap)
both axles - from raxles
couple window regulators
fixed clock
camber bolts in front
adjustable rear camber arms
alternator
working hood struts
knock sensor and subharness
The interior of the car is still in very good shape. All the leather is nice and no tears. Everything still works - sunroof, A/C, etc
There are some problems with the car, but nothing too serious.
Problems:
power steering leak - maybe high pressure hose? I have replaced that one, but it's been a while
power loss - feels like its definitely missing some power. I think it might be an injector issue. I dont have time right now to really deal with it though, but am including a spare set of working injectors with the sale
hood dent - a tree branch fell on the hood during a storm and there's a dent right by one of the squirters. It doesn't affect anything, but you can notice it from certain angles
side skirt dent - on the rear pass side, under the rear door, there is a crack in the side skirt from a nice curb. If you got stillen skirts, it would cover this up
spoiler bubble - spoiler is still holding onto the trunk just fine, but is starting to bubble in one spot near the middle
some VTC noise - VTCs were replaced with rebuilt units but the tick is back
HUD resolder - heads up display works on warm days or when you're using the defroster. If it's cold, it usually wont come on. The main unit just needs to be resoldered or possibly have some of the capacitors replaced
remote starter - has remote starter installed and wont start in gear, but blows the starter fuse when starting (it still starts, but then you can't start with key until you replace the fuse). Just needs a new power wire run to the remote start unit.
NOx emissions - had troubles with emissions so that's why the Y pipe and intake were taken off. Passes now, but still could be close in the future. Most VEs are this way.
fuel evap line - if the gas tank is above 7/8 or so, it'll leak some fuel. This is just from a dried out fuel evap line at the gas tank. It'd cost about $5-10 to replace this line, but I haven't got around to it. It does NOT have the rust in the filler neck like others do.
various dings and scratches - paint is in decent shape, but definitely not a show car
Extra parts:
stock Y pipe
stock intake
fuel rail with all 6 injectors
6 spare coil packs
MAFS - mass air flow sensor

It needs work to fix the power loss, but I'm including injectors and coil packs so there's two common culprits and all you'd need is the labor to put those in.

I have already sold the UK corners separately to a friend so it'll come with either stock or clear corners. The stillen lip is no longer on there since it got damaged by a big piece of carpet on the freeway. I have the foglights off right now but can reinstall them if you want. Stock headlights are back on (with 9007 bulbs) since E36 lights wouldn't pass state inspection.
I will be keeping the 5 spoke wheels (winter tires for lexus) so it'll come with stock SE wheels.
Asking $2600.

Still for sale, but got one interested party so far. Need to talk to him some more in the next few days.
the IS300 isn't a stick, but my prelude is so I wanted a car to drive around in traffic and also because I'm getting old and lazy. It does have shifter buttons on the steering wheel though so I can pretend I'm a F1 driver!
