FS: 1993 SE 5sp in northeast $2300

Ive owned this car since 1999, I am the 2nd owner. I have the original window sticker and floormats. Power antenna and clock function perfectly. This car has been great to me- I will be very sad to see it go!

The car has 248,xxx miles and currently needs nothing. Oil has always been changed every 3-4,000 miles with Castrol GTX 5w30 and a quality filter (Toyota, NAPA/Wix or Purolator). Transmission was professionally rebuilt with all new OEM Nissan bearings @ 190,000 miles, and has been run with Redline MTL. OEM Nissan clutch (not Key Value) and Fidanza flywheel installed at the same time. Both axles are newer, more recently the passenger side @190k and is a quality Raxles unit. New Brembo rotors/Axxis MM in front, new pads in rear. Ball joints and tie rod ends are a few years old, but are in fine shape. New driver door hinges. The left rear door has a new window regulator.

The car is currently sitting on Eibach/Koni that are in great shape. They were installed @175,000 miles (all highway miles since then). The front has Eibach camber bolts and the rear has adjustable parallel links installed- the car is very easy on tires (no uneven wear). For the asking price, I will include both the 17x8 SVT rims and Michelin Pilot tires (plenty of tread) that are pictured, as well as a spare set of '99 16" SE 5-spoke aluminum wheels that need new tires (which were used as my winter set). The stock 15" wheels are negotiable- I would like to keep the tires, but have no interest in the wheels themselves.

Current mods include JWT pop charger, ASP underdrive pulley, FSTB, Blehmco RSTB, ground wire kit, Stillen STS, 5th gen muffler (custom tips), Warpspeed Y, Carsound Cat, and Goodrich SS brakelines. Other niceties include aluminum shift **** and e-brake handle, leather shift boot, Alpine CD headunit, and keyless entry. I also have a Thule roof rack that can be included for a minor extra cost, if interested.

The paint is in terrific condition, and has always been waxed. The front and rear bumpers are not perfect (some minor chipping) but are not in bad shape at all.

Interior is nearly perfect. Charcoal cloth looks brand new. Black carpet has no stains. As mentioned earlier, original floormats included in sale. Dash has no tears or scratches. VERY nice- I will get some pics of the interior soon.

Problems are relatively minor. Radiator has very slow leak- needs to be topped off every 3-4 months. The car also has a minor exhaust leak in the piping between the cat and muffler. It has been patched and is holding fine. Muffler, cat and Y are all in fine shape. Every once in a while, the car will run rough (like it is only running on 5 cyl). I havent been able to duplicate the problem long enough to pull codes from the ECU, but I suspect it may be an injector issue. 99% of the time, the car runs terrific.

I will be posting on Craigslist later this week, but hopefully this car will go to a fellow Maxima enthusiast! The only reason for selling is that I need something to tow my boat. I currently dont have the space to store an extra vehicle, otherwise I would be keeping it!

Car is located just north of Boston, MA. Asking price is $2300. If interested, please send me an email: TRBenj (at) gmail (dot) com.

Thanks for your interest!
-Tim

I will get some interior shots in the next few days. Sorry for the delay!

I would like to keep the SVT wheels on the car for now- I know an enthusiast here would appreciate them. Depending on interest level, I would consider seperating them, though. Stock wheels are in good shape with lots of tread on the tires- they just don't look as nice as the 17's. Send me an email and we can talk.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

94maxshima, thanks for the link to the interior pics. They are a few years old, but there are only minor differences:

-Pioneer headunit has been replaced with an Alpine deck
-original floormats not shown (but are included)
-The Saab/Ford cupholders are not installed anymore, the original drawer is back in. I can include both units if anyone is interested though.

The condition of the seats, dash and carpet is equal to that shown in the pics. I will get some current pics up this weekend at the latest!
