94 5spd swap'd max SE for parts

Alas, my max has hit the dust. I have serious front end damage that's not worth repairing. However, the engine and every other mechanical part is in working order. It includes... manual transmission and everthing needed for the swap, clutch kit w/5000 miles on it, engine, new (less than 1000mi) front and rear hawk pads, new calipers, stillen body kit (Undamaged due to bumper design), sts, max 20th anniversery shift ****, black leather seats, brand new nissan stater, lifetime waranteed NAPA premium alternator, new clutch slave & master cylinders, and lots more. You can view it at my home page,

http://maxima.cardomain.com/memberpage/531729

I spent over a thouand dollars doing the swap just in parts. Here, you can get everthing needed except the gear lube for $500. That includes the Stillen body kit which is currently selling for $400. If you want the radio which includes the alpine head unit, new alpine SPS 170A 6.5s, clarion 400w amp, and the JL Audio 12" sub tack on an extra $100. The price includes delivery within a 100 mile radius of Orlando zip code 32804. If purchaser also has AAA plus membership that puts delivery out to 200 miles.

VERY interested, I'm up in St. Augustine and have AAA
So are you looking for $600 for the car total... with the audio equipment?
Let me know...

edit: also... what kind of tires do you have on the car? How much tread left. Thanks

The are yokohama yk420's with a good amount of tred left. I put 5-10k on them. Also, I have the FSM (hard copy for '94 gxe/se) and I'll include it in the deal... since I won't need it anymore. Price is $600 with the stereo equipment and $500 w/o.

P.S. I have the ASP underdrive pulley installed.

Here are the photos. In them you can see the damage and that the engine is not affected. This car might even be repairable to someone that does body work. Other than that, it is a great parts car for the price considering the upgrades included and the factory service manual. If there are no takers in a resonable amount of time I'll part out the car and make much more than I'm asking here. Really, I'm just trying to avoid spending the time since I'm busy with work. I would love to see the car go to someone who can use it since I put so much tlc into it and know how fun these cars can be.

...Here's the first half of the photos

PM me with any questions or to make arrangements to take a look.

Matt

I thought a bra might cover it just fine. You'd never notice, lol.

About the kit... I really wasn't going to part out the car. But, now that 94maxshima is no where to be found I might just do it. I have someone coming for the system on Saturday. If no one puts dibs on the car by sunday I"ll start parting it out on Monday. I have one other person I promised the kit to, but if they pass I"ll offer it to you.

Hey, Sorry about the lack of contact. I've still been keeping up with the thread though. Been out of town the past few weekends and was unable to make it down there. I'll see what I can do about perhaps coming down this Sunday to look at it (If that's good for you of course).... Thanks.

Hey,

No problem. You have my # so just give me a call to set something up. I need to do something soon though because I have to get rid of the car. I can wait till this weekend but after that I'm parting it out.

I'll let you know by this weekend about the kit and the mirrors. I would probably charge for the mirrors (yes they are heated) $50 bucks + shipping. I'll even take the defrost switch out so you can install that.

Hmm.. anyone know if that transmission will bolt up to a 2nd gen VG30E?

I'd be interested in the car for the transmission, to replace the open-diff auto thats in my 2nd gen project car.

I know someone that lives in the area, so pickup wouldnt be too much of an issue.

Hi, what do you still have left? What have you sold? I just saw the thread and am willing to drive down there tomorrow and take the whole car if it's available. Is the stereo still there? Let me know! Thanks.

I'm still here... Car is still too

Hey everyone,

I more or less gave up on anyone purchasing the ride and stopped checking the post. It seemed like no one was interested. Low and behold, I came back and realized some might still be interested. I apologize to those I left hanging.

Well, if there are still some takers here's an update...

I found a buyer for the alpine receiver. Prior to selling it I dropped it off at Circuit City for service (cleaning dust under the glass on the face and dim illumination). It turns out they couldn't service it so they had to offer me a comparable replacement. Well, they don't stock anything comparable to a 65x4 w Alpine anymore. So, they had to refund me the sales price. After a lot of haggling I got a $500 dollar gift card for a 4 yr old radio. It pays to get the service agreement. I got a digi and 2g of ram out of it.

Anyway, after that, I feel I can drop the price to $400. All of the stereo is still there except the receiver.

Also, I understand that the transmission will work on a 3rd gen VG. However, the axles will probably have to be modified and/or the hub to account for different sized splines. if it works on the 2nd gen is something I couldn't tell ya.

neo_densetsu has dibs, pm sent. If your not interested I'll give mark a call.

Lata,

Matt

Dibs on the Dibs!!!! Hey Neo. I would love for you to get this car, but you're in Colorado and I'm in FL only about 100 miles away from this guy. If you don't mind please give your dibs to me.

I need this car for the rear strut assemblies, e-brake cables, rear disc conversion, manual tranny swap, LSD and axles, Stillen Kit, Mirrors, Audio equipment, etc...

Hey Matt, I'll take it. PM sent. Let me know.

Thanks!

-Mark
