92 ve auto, black with gray interior Nebraska 400 obo

IT NOW RUNS, this is a list of things that have happened to it.

Burned out a valve at 171,000 and decided to have someone rebuild the engine. He rebuilt it and it "runs" but I cant get it to go over 4k rpms without dying. I loved this car for a long time and gave the guy 3500 to rebuild this motor. I am sure its something simple but I just bought an 03 SE and need to focus on one or the other. I would like to see 1500/obo out of the 92, cuz of the engine rebuild, the rest of the car is "special". I will list the things wrong with the exterior of the car and try to post pics in the next week. I will try to list everything so as to try to not mislead anyone.

1. The car was tagged with spay paint on the hood.
2. The car was hit gently on the drivers front, no damage to the tire or axle, the accident was right in front of that. I replaced the fender and pulled the radiator support straight again. The car also had an alignment done after we fixed the front end. The fender, bumper and hood were replaced and I drove the car for about 1.5 years after that. No engine damage done.
3. The drivers rear quarter panel had about a 1 inch spot of rust near the wheel well that was cut out and had rust inhibitor sprayed in the area.
4. The rear spoiler has come off at both sides. Still attached firmly in the middle.
5. The windshield has a crack near the bottom, also the sunroof has a crack across it. It does not leak.

The interior of this car is pretty darn clean. No stains or tears. The inside was kept clean most of its life. Its started every time and treated me well. This car ran awesome and wonderfully until I stupidly put a hotter plug in the number 6 cylinder. I had a friends dad try the rebuild and it took forever. He didn't know sh%t about Nissans. Hes done like Chevy's and fords, so he could do Nissan? Anyways, I checked on this car every 2 weeks for almost 16 months, so I know he was actually doing stuff. Like having the block honed and the heads done. Hell I picked up several items out of my own pocket from the Nissan dealership here locally. Valve springs, timing chain set,(that was expensive!!), and I saw the boxes for the gaskets and the exhaust studs. He wasn't completely incompetent, just didn't know jack about Nissan's. I will be taking pictures this week and try to get them up. Also here are the links to my previous posts requesting help

I have no way of transporting my car other than driving it. I drove it about 15 miles across town less than a month ago. But at 25 mph I would be hard pushed to drive it much more. I swear, if someone who new what they were doing could come down and work on it and drive it away. Pm me if your interested, please just ask if you have any questions.

well if you could get that small problem fixed of it not going over 4k on the tack, I suppose so. I dont know enough to get it fixed myself but someone that knew what they were doing could do it quick and in a heart beat.

Sounds like it could just be the MAF. Bump for what sounds like an easy fix.

Someone needs to take this. Pretty good deal (especially with rebuilt engine).

My friend thats been looking over it has had it up and idleing for like 45 minutes before, it runs just not very well over 4k. I figured I would try to unplug the maf, and it should run, next very well but still over 4k. That would tell me if it is the maf, I dont have any better ideas about testing it though. Let me know if someone else does.

man...

Talk about a long time between posts. Well the 03 got totaled and I still have the 92 se. Still for sale, and now comes with a new water pump, lifetime warranty. Still some issues but it doesnt die at 4k rpm now, and there is no coolant leak. The junk yard said they would give me 500 for this car. Please someone take this car from me and give it a good home.

Ok well the thing runs now, looks like I found one little wire on the harness that wasnt hooked up and guess what it was the ground for the computer. The thing is purring like a kitten now and is drivable. I still need to get rid of it and the junk yard told me 400, let me know if someone else wants it for that. I would rather it be taken care of than scraped. If you want it come and get it. I dont want to try and piece it out. I need it out of my driveway. If you have a better price the send me a message.
