looking for a cheap 4th gen that i could use for a engine and tranny swap. so basically i want a car with a very good body and interior but i dont care what condition the engine or tranny is in. hoping to get a nice car for cheap this way.

 

I have a car that would be perfect for you but it's not cheap. All the car needs is an engine,manual trans and all manual trans parts(ecu,shifter,shift rods,flywheel,clutch lines,etc) The car is in great condition. It has maybe three small door dings on the entire car and thats it.The car was very well taken car of by an older gentleman. It was a one owner car until 2000 miles ago. The second owner bought the car and put only 2000 miles on the car before the trans went. The car is a pebble beige 96 SE, 201,000 miles, tan cloth. I would sell it for $2000.
I have an engine and trans and plan on fixing the car but have to many cars that i'm working on right now. When i fix the car i would be selling it for $3800
If your interested i would possibly be interested in your parts car for a partial trade. Minus your engine and trans of course.

sorry fanaticrockford, not a fan of the beige/tan color. if it was blk/blk id be much more interested.

 

I have a '98 SE 5spd Blk on Blk mileage is about 177 engine works good the car couls use a new tranny. Car has been kept very clean front could use a repaint. Someone brushed my car while I was parked in a parking lot. Rear spoiler needs to be reattched/replaced whichever you prefer. Thats about all the defects it has. Interior is cloth but very clean.
