I am the third owner of this car; I bought it from a friend's brother-in-law in Virginia about 5 years ago.

It is a 1996 SE 5sp, granite pearl with black leather with about 140,000 miles. I've kept it and put the sawblades back on in anticipation of using it as a winter beater but I've barely driven it since I bought my S2K in '05. I put brand new RE730 tires on it last winter and have only about 1000 miles on them. The sale will also include the 18" rims with Sumitomo HTR+ with about 5k miles.

The bad:
One of the 18's is badly gouged on the lip but holds air.
Another of the 18's is slightly bent but holds air; all 4 HTR+ tires are fine.
The car has not passed inspection in NJ due to check engine light.
The a/c is not working; I had the evaporator replaced at the dealer about 2 years ago and it worked fine but have not had it diagnosed again.

Hi folks,

To answer some of your questions:

The last CEL I got was for speed sensor but that has been replaced; the last thing my mechanic told me was that he may need to replace some sort of sensor by the fuel pump in order to make it pass but I haven't looked into it further.

The body is very sound with no rust that I can see anywhere. A few dings from taxicabs and the driver door has about a foot long scratch that is slightly indented; I'll try to take more pics this weekend.

I know I could get more for it by parting out but it's a time-consuming process; I wouldn't mind taking a bit of a hit by selling it all together. The 18s are sitting in my apt in the boxes taking up space so it all has to go! I have my eye on a FX35 but if I can't sell the max I'll just use it through the winter instead.
