'01 "wrecked", car to sell..please check out
Hey guys..
I have posted on this board a few times and love my 01 SE, it now has 54000 miles. Just a puppy. I always kept the car in excellent shape

I was rear-ended the other night and my insurance company is calling it a total loss. I have the option of keeping the car after the settlement which I might do. Im looking for someone who might be looking for this car for whatever reason....
It was hit in the back. I was at a red light. STOPPED. Rear is all damaged along with a cracked "something" just past the rear bumper. Please see the pics below for the damage...

It kills me to have to write off this car. It runs perfectly and would be a waste to just get rid off. Im not sure what Im going to do with this car.
An option would be to part it out as EVERYTHING works perfectly, but honestly, I dont have the time or desire to do that. I would rather have someone local ( Im on Long Island) to come take the car.
Jeff at Maximum Tuning (Glen Cove/Seacliff) has done work on the car for years. Ask him about Scotts Maxima. I sent him pics of it.... I might still get it fixed. Not sure. the point is that if someone wanted it.. we could work something out. It would have a "salvage" title.

sorry to hear about the car man.... Have been there also. I am local, if you do part out the car I would like to get the headlights lenses. Let me know what your plans are. Hope something better comes your way
