IN: fs: vq35/6spd 95 maxima
it really pains me to do this, but i feel that i need a change.
1995 nissan maxima gle
2k2 3.5
Converted 2k2 TB to cable drive
Modified stock IM
DE-K Injectors
Homemade Intake/ K&N filter
HS headers
Motostorm UDP
cattman muffler
2.5 exhaust, no cat, 22" resonator
2003 hlsd 6spd
SPEC stage 2 clutch
fidanza 15lb flywheel
Raxles drivers axle
energy suspension 6spd poly shifter bushings
17" 2k2 rims
sprint 2" drop springs
kyb agx sdjustable struts
se white face gauges
black leather int.
hardwired i pod hookup
retrofitted bmw x5 projectors
brembo dimple slotted front rotors
rtp dimple slotted rear rotors
hawk hps pads
ss clutch line from mc to sc
the good
-6spd which is great for acceleration and gas mileage. hlsd is fun too.
-brand new clutch just past the break in
-fast, 13 second car untuned.
-ipod hook up
-projectors
-amazing on gas, average 30+mpg since the swap
the bad
-hard starting with starter noise, this could be just a sensor or fuel problem.
-possible slight leak from clutch master cylinder. low clutch pedal
-rusted front lower radiator suppport
-the threaded parts inside the front suspension member, have broke lose, so the rear 2 bolts on the engine crossmember arent tight.
-no ac
-clearcoat is peeling off front bumper
-hood and spoiler are faded
-2 small rust holes in front fender
-small exhaust leak between rear header and y pipe
heres tons of pics of the car and a few vids. i can take newer pics if people want.

thanks but no thanx for the maxima. definately no on the honda.
hacim- i was refering to the starting problem. i believe the hard starting is caused by the fact that the cps is lined up way to the pass side of the timing ring, and when the car cranks, it will lose the signal. as for the noise, im not sure. ive been trying to track down an oem 5.5gen starter.
