to the OP..you know your car as-is will most likely be faster than the G you want to get right?

 

I must not be the norm,,,, I am older (44) interested in the car because of the mods, they are paid for and the hard work is done. Let's face it header install is work even for an experienced mechanic let alone doing it yourself.

I would just remove a lot of that stuff, intake is easy enough, if you have the stock springs/struts that's fairly easy, headers well probably not but you could throw a stock muffler on there too.

 

if u wasnt in CT i would try and get it...but thats kinda far and now im stuck with this freakin gsx that im tryna sell....

 

I thought about it.
But to remove my intake i have to relocate my battery back to the original spot, the kid that appraised my car looked under and saw the exhaust (it does have the stock muffler and cat)
I have a reverse camera in the keyhole and lost the stock lock.
They even complained about the orange being taken out from the headlights and that my housing is painted black.
they complianed about my grill being painted
I dont have the stock struts , only the springs.

I just dont want to deal with the headach of doing all that work.

 

Top end (110+) i know is faster on the g.
But your right my max is prolly faster in general (for now )

 

until you get to modding on that g

ya most of the miles are highway, i drive ~60 (30 each way) miles each day just to work, and then school too

+ weekend and i did some driving cause i was car shopping...

I do get paid for travel but the miles on the car add up..

doubt ud be open to this trade b/c you prob dont wanna pay more money that your cars worth but its worth a try lol but would u trade your maxi (with mods)+cash for my 2002 acura tl type s with navigation... mods include oem spoiler oem lip kit hid foglights and completely replaced sound system color is aegean blue pearl on ebony leather. new brakes/tires yr old/just got a fresh oil change.. (car is perfect no problems but may need to get into a cheaper car to pay off some bills)

 

Thats good you at least get paid for the drive. How is the leather, i know it probably has the normal wear and tear but other than that is everything still in excellent shape?

Its not really of less value but i have an 01 Cobra i would try and make a deal with. Its mineral grey, flowmaster 40 series mufflers, tremec tko transmission, and the best part 38k miles and an original owner. The car was my dads which he drove 2 miles to work everyday in and when i got back from basic and was waiting to go to school it was given to me by my parents, but i have had 4 maximas and thats where my heart is at. I got an enlistment bonus so i may sell it or just keep it and buy another max but anyhoo the Transmission was put in by Reynolds Ford in Norman, Oklahoma where the car was purchased and i have all receipts and maintenance records, the car does lose warrenty at 60k miles but until then it is bumper to bumper. Several .org members have either rode or seen it in person and can speak the same. I know its not what you were wanting but if it interests you let me know and i will post pictures. If not no worries, ya never know until you try.
