97 Maxima SE VA 5 speed, parts or whole?

I bought a 97 SE with 130k miles. Body isn't perfect by any stretch. Interior is dirty but in tact. I may sell the car for a parts car (whole) or I may part it out. My 95 needs a transmission so I may keep the transmission unless I get a great offer for it. I'm wondering if you guys need enough stuff to make it worthwhile to sell in parts or whole. I'm not in front of the computer all the time so I may not get back to you quickly. Car has the Bose radio, single disk, display on the stereo doesn't work, radio does. Black leather, heated. Digital climate control. SE wheels, tires, well, has 2 good ones, 2 are shot. 2 good ones are Fulda 225/50-16's. Near perfect. All lights are there and in one piece. Engine runs buts needs a few things. Tranny seems fine (again, unless the offer is big I'll keep it).

Check engine light is on. Says it needs a knock sensor (surprise), crank sensor, clock spring, the ABS light is on, may be a wheel sensor, maybe more. Airbag light is on (clock spring). Both bags are there and I assume they're good. No rips I can find in the seats but they are dirty. The car sat for 2 years.

Talk to me. I think I mentioned what model, year, trim etc so it should be clear but ask questions. Just trying to decide what to do here, haven't committed to selling parts or the whole car yet. I'm open for discussion. I think parting it out will be the ticket unless someone makes me a good offer on the car. Clear title.

Just to clear something up.

First, the car or the parts will be for sale (read that are for sale) but if someone wanted the whole car and offered me the right price I might just let it all go at once. Obviously I can make more money parting it out but it's more effort. I work a lot so time is at a premium.

I may sell the transmission for the right price. Mine needs the input shaft bearing (180k on the clock) and for the right price I'll fix it, if the transmission brings the right price I'll sell it and fix mine, if not I'll pull it and put it in my 95.

You're welcome to come look at the car. I can get pictures if you want. Email me and I'll get some if you want them. I'm accepting offers. Offer is assuming we both agree on what you're getting. If anything isn't as described you're not bound to buy it.

for reference, my ebay ID is wstetson3, check my feedback.

I don't think you mentioned what kind of tranny it has... just FYI. Might help a bit.

Actually, it's in the title. For anyone who has overlooked it, it's a factory equipped 5 speed, not a conversion.

Anyone want to make me an offer for the complete conversion package??? All the parts are there, trans, shafts, mounts, computer, shifter, the whole shooting match. Make me an offer on the conversion parts, the whole car or anything else. If you want the conversion you need to be available to pull them.

Where are you at in VA?

How much are you looking to get for the trans?
