Black 95 GXE with 95k for 2,000 in FL.
Hello all, thanks for checking the car out. Let me preface the post by saying the car has a rebuilt FL title. This might save some of you all the time.
Having said that i'd like to pass this extremely reliable car on to someone else for long continued use. There are lots of goodies on the car so stay with me. Here is some history on the car. I can't recall exactly when i bought the car but i believe it was back in 02/03.....might even be 01. Its been a while.
Anyway, back in 04 the car was hit in the passenger a pillar area. As part of the settlement i received the car back and they put a salvage on the title.
I went through the FL rebuild process and inspection and received a rebuilt title in july of 05. The repairs to the car were a passenger door, a fender, and a front bumper cover. The inner fender is still original, straight, and was untouched. Didn't really need a front bumper cover, but it had some scuffs and rock chips on it and turned out to be cheaper to buy a new one than to have the old one fixed. The car at this time had 77801 miles on it and it now reads around 95k. All these miles have been trouble free and without incident.
From the pics you might notice some differences. I don't want anyone to be alarmed so i'm going to lay it all out right here. I was running a healthy dose of nitrous through the motor and it burned the rings out on cylinder one....my fault. This was around 75k miles. It was cheaper to buy a salvage yard motor and replace than it was to put rings in. I bought a 61k mile motor and had it installed. The transmission has also been replaced in august of 06. The original tranny had about 85k miles on it before it started giving up the ghost. Lots of runs on the old motor at the drag strip had taken its toll. It wasn't bad but i could tell the overdrive was having trouble staying put on the interstate and the 3rd gear was not as sure under heavy loads(interstate merge lanes...god i love those) as it once was. So before it got to bad i had a 30k mile tranny swapped in with new axles. I had a 2,500rpm stall torque converter that was mistakenly put back in with the replacement tranny. Nothing wrong with the converter, but was hoping to have that to be able to sell to help offset the tranny swap. The douche nozzle didn't pay attention and eff'd up. I wasn't about to pay them again to pull the tranny again. So just be aware that when driving this car it is a little different than driving one with a stock torque converter.
The car has always been a trooper and never let me down. Still rides out great and will continue to do so for a long time. Now keep in mind there is a reason the car is so cheap. Along with the rebuilt title there are some other things the new owner will need to know about. The passenger rear window had a plastic tab pop off the regulator so as of right now its unplugged. To get it operating again one will need a replacement regulator. The window tint is not that great and the replacement door is a little darker than the rest of the windows. The car could use some paint to be real nice, but its just fine for me as it is. The fender and bumpers were done with the dupli-color crap found in the local auto parts store and you can see how well that turned out.
Been that way since 05. I never use the wipers cause i rely on rain-x so you might need some wiper blades.
EDITED FOR PRICE REDUCTION>>>>DOWN TO 2000
NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF.
Thanks for sticking with me this long. Hopefully you'll feel rewarded for reading this far. The car has quite a few nice parts still on it aside form the low miles, low mileage motor and tranny.

I left the engine bay as is so one can see its true condition. Although, keep in mind that the pics my 2mg camera takes seem to make things look worse than they really are. There is just dust in the engine bay. Didn't want someone to think i was trying to hide something by doing one of those engine dress up things where they pressure wash it all then slap a gallon of shiny stuff all over everything. Plus i didn't want someone with a pressure washer hose up under the hood for fear they might ruin something.

Here is were the unfinished business lies. The pillar was pulled and someone else made an attempt to fill in the sill. Only problem is that i received a tip that the shop was going under so i rushed to pick up the car before it was impounded with all their other stuff. Was going to have it reworked elsewhere, but since the door actually shut and sealed i never bothered to get it done. I hardly ever use the passenger side doors so it was more of an out of sight out of mind thing. Finally so much time had passed i just left it alone. I know it doesn't look pretty in the pics, but its been like that since day one and not one issue has come of it. The minor surface rust just above the window was started when i had to tape up the window due to having to wait on the insurance claim to go through. Took over a year and by the time the tape was pulled off it was as you see now but without the rust. That has just gradually come on over the years and is only on the surface. All this stuff looks much worse in the pics than it does in person. That's why i suggest you come see the car if it is at all possible. If the buyer wishes me to i can sand out the top coat and put some black primer on the area to keep anything from progressing. However, if you have plans to have it repainted then its probably bes tif the shop that does the work get to see it as it sits now.

Too bad it's not a 5speed, not a bad 'fixeruper' if you dont mind putting time and ofcorse TONS of $$$ into it.. Looks like you've done alot already! GL with sale bro... How much are you trying to get for it?
Meh, i'm not sure what one would consider tons of money, but its not going to take that much. Not nieve enough to think its going to be a mint car which is why i listed it as a reliable daily driver that can be fixed up real nice with little effort if one wanted to. If anything of the car had bothered my a would have fixed it up myself. However, its a great little car that doesn't really need all that much in my mind. In reality the pics make the car look much worse than it really is.
As far as money is concerned that is why i put it up for best offer. Don't really have to sell the car, nor do i really need it either. Simply figured i'd put the car up for grabs here first before trying elsewhere. This would be a good car for someone to either buy for a solid reliable daily driver, or maybe someone would like to pick up something fairly cheap that they can use as a track car.
Thanks for the bump.

If i had the room and the gumption to do it i would. I just can't have a half torn apart car sitting in my garage for months on end. This car is uber easy to wrench on so i suppose someone could have an easy go at it.....just not me.
