The time has come to sell my maxima, and move on to another. My wife is purchasing a new car and Im taking her '99.

Car has 186k miles, and it needs:

- Hood needs to be painted, looks like it has leprosy (looks like a maaco paint job took place before I owned the car)
- Seems like it has a bad wheel bearing in the rear right.
- E-brake is disconnected for some reason.

Car has had done:

- New suspension (struts i mean), less than 10k miles old. KYB GR2s on Maxspeed springs
- Remote Starter Installed
- New clutch, 10k miles ago.
- Newer muffler, 10k miles ago.
- New coil packs, 10k miles ago, along with spark plugs.
- Oil was changed ever 3-4k miles religiously
- Many other small parts replaced along the way like crank pos sensor, knock sensor, brakes and such.

The car really does run well, its been my daily driver for 3 years, and has yet to really let me down shy of general maintenance. Pictures to follow, $2000 or BEST OFFER!

 

really doesnt make sense that the hand brake doesnt work.....someone must of ripped the line or something? siezed calipers? its a manual car I think you should look into it...

 

I just leave it in gear and dont park on hills..

 

so you leave it in gear, dont park on hills, dont have a working handbrake, and have remote start on the car? I dont know man not trying to grill you but that seems kind of risky.

 

Ive installed more remote starts than i can count. Our maxima's have neutral safety wires, which when connected will ONLY remote start the car in neutral gear. Anything else? If you're not interested in the car, kindly **** off.

PM returned, no more than 3 rust spots on the entire car, and they're mostly on the hood, which needs a paint job anyways.. damn NE weather

Did you get the parking brake fixed in the past few months? Auto Start sounds cool, but I cant think of many places I could leave it in Neutral to start without a brake. Unless of course you sell it with a brick.

no, but i figured out what it was, rear caliper assys are seized. honestly, im probably going to fix most of whats wrong with this car before it goes, shy of maybe the hood needing repainting.
