FS: 1998 Maxima SE 5-speed, Ohio

Selling a car for a friend, in case somebody here is looking for a clean and well taken care of car.

It's a black 1998 Maxima SE, 5 speed manual with 137,000 miles on it. Clutch was changed at 112k to a 5th gen unit, grabs well and shows no signs of slipping. Plugs, belts, air filter were changed at the same time as well. Tires are fresh Potenza g009's, lots of tread left. Lowered on Tein S-tech springs. DTM tails, black clear corners. Only mod besides that is a pass-down strut bar from my Maxima, which isn't really a mod. Has 20% tint, and a Hidden Hitch. The guy works in a neighboring city(dayton) and lives in Cincinnati, so the miles are mosly highway.

Coming from 3 maximas, i can tell that this one is in very good shape. It has your typical door dings and some tiny scratches, but every single car with 137k miles will have them. Only thing wrong with the car is the turn signals don't come on. I haven't looked at it yet, it's probably something very simple because they work when you lock/unlock the car. The muffler was taken off to install a hitch on the car, and was never put back on because he needed a place to hook the trailer chain to.

Call him at 513-746-0149, or email him at texas1352@yahoo.com or send me a PM.

He's looking to get $4300 for it.

Thanks

Is it the price or are there just no people looking for cars in the ohio area? He's willing to meet people half way if you need to drive over 2 hours to get here.

Clean maxima, black with dark interior, not too common!

patience is needed when selling a car, specially in todays economy, dont worry someone will show interest, aslo you listed it on a weekend, people probably havent check it yet but good luck either way

That is true maxfever, he's just trying to switch to the Subaru Outback as soon as possible because he needs a wagon.

Will consider reasonable offers, car needs to go!
