THIS MAXIMA HAS A QUAIFE!! The quaife itself is worth half of what I am asking, ATLEAST. I was offered $2000 for it a few months ago but I had just installed it.

Has a few issues:
-AC compressor is noisy. It works fine but the pulley is loud.
-needs tires(it is not inspected because of this!)
-ebrake is sticking(Not driven for a while)
-needs "striking rod oil seal". This is the seal were shift linkage enters the trans. Seal is $9.98 at my local stealership and it looks like it would take about an hour to replace.(Not driven for a while)

Yeah, like $2200 for a heavily modded car that has a $2500 KBB value in stock, poor condition isn't enough motivation. Has anyone ever read the KBB "poor condition" description? Half the cars in my local junk yard are in better than poor condition per KBB. This car is obviously not in that condition. If someone wants it for what it is(ie a $4000 car for half that), they won't need more pics.

Oh snap, someone thought that it was such an incredible value that they drove all the way from the NYC to get it without any more pictures. Do you think that this car for $2000 was worth the chance you took coming down here? Feel free to post some pictures if you want. Especially the almost mint interior...

the mods on this car was well worth the $2k,I drove 2 hrs to look at it when it was for sale for over 3K.lol just based on the mod list which entitled everything i will eventually do , but a compression check revealed one DEAD cyl (70 psi) which didnt make the car undriveable. When i saw the car for 2k, i would have bought it and part it out, more like rape it..lol common guys, just the tranny in this thing was worth 1500.. someone got a hell of a deal for this car, all they need is to drop in a dek or 3.5 and ride!!!!

 

Compression test showed a Dead cylinder? Shouldn't this be edited into the original post? Sounds kinda shady not to include this crucial information.

Regardless, the transmission alone makes this car worth it, especially since it appears ready for a 3.5 swap. But not including the info about bad compression leads me to believe there may be other things wrong with this car.

 

Would you willing to just sell me the trans? Or the lsd I can even bring another 5 speed trans.
