FS: 97 Sage Mist SE - 190K - MT- Philly, PA
FS: 97 Sage Mist SE - 190K - MT- Philly, PA
Lowered price - $1,500
Miles were getting up there and I came across a bit nicer 97 with less mileage so I've got to get rid of my Sage Mist. I've had it for about 4 years. I've modded it and demodded it for the sale. The only aftermarket parts that will come on it are sub frame connectors (been a while, maybe Warpspeed?) and it's been wired for a system (the Sony head unit came with the car).
Run down:
Purchased in 2005 with 114K miles, now has 190K miles (mostly highway from my driving)
Usual SE package
Stainless steel front brake lines
Fog lights wired to stay on
Bumper lights rewired so all four are on w/headlights
Replaced radiator support w/cheap eBay part only to have the bolts rip out again so I welded an angle and it's been holding up quite well
Needs new battery because it's been sitting too long and I've had to jump it too many times
It is throwing a code. Last time I checked it, the code was 0302 for the EGR system. I really don't want to get into diagnosing the problem.
Other than that, the car runs well (once jump started), shifts well and does everything it's supposed to do. 10-7-09 Edit - The car does run as I proved last night. See one of my posts below with a video showing the alternator works and the car runs.
I was asking $2,500, but I'll take $1,500 at this point. Car is located in the northeast Philly. Please email (dukelubas [at] gmail [dot] com) or PM for more information or to take a look at the car.

Thats the story with a car born and raised in the northeast. I bought it in Massachusetts originally. It's definitely a project at best but more than likely destined as a daily driver from this point on. I've done it before but I don't really want to part out another car.
Dude, I think I've seen your car a couple times. Do you commute on I-95 SB in the mornings? I've definitely seen a car like the one in your sig a few times.
I work in Newark. If you ever see a dark green 97 with LED tails, its probably me. Every time I've seen you, I'm usually passing you, but your car sounds friggin awesome. Didn't know you had a VQ35.
HAHAHA DUDE! Thanks man! i see you pass me all the time. i just cruise down bc my car is dumb low, but i noticed the tails and rear sway bar on your car. Looks Sweet!
Sure, you got a complete Vortech kit sitting around?
The car runs off the alternator as I proved last night. Took video as proof. Video shows that I took it last night, voltage at the battery while the car is idling, voltage at higher RPM and that it indeed is of the car that I'm selling (and not some other Maxima). Here's the link to the vid.
