Alright well i really hate to do this but my girl is now in need of a car, and we are in need of somthing bigger to tell the truth. We are working on child number 4.......
I have babied this car since i picked it up, and i have also done alot of work to it since then as well. including replacing all the inter couplers with new Vibrant couplers. New z32 maf new, down pipe etc....
Trade wise im looking for a 2 for 1 deal or a good DD with some cash.
maybe some kinda honda, acura, maybe even a dsm... i would love to get a good DD and some kinda fun car for me but i doubt that will happen
i wouldnt mind looking at a truck or suv...
Now back to the maxima, i have changed the oil every 2800 miles i run 5 w40 full synthetic.
Heres a few of the specs on it...
The car currently has 140,xxx on it and will continue to go up as i drive this car daily
92 maxima se
***motor***
-Has occasional vtc ticking (completly normal, cause no problems and is nothing to worry about)
-Has a very very minor power steering leak, i have had to only add fluid once.
-rear main seal replaced at 125k
-water pump replaced at 125k
-knock sensor replaced at 130k
-idle air control valve replaced at 130k
-lower /upper intake manifold gaskets replaced at 125k
-radiator hoses replaced at 120k front/ rear coil packs replaced at 130k with new ones from dealer ( no crackes)
-Alternator replaced at 139K
-Starter is being replaced as im typing so at 140K
-Z32 maf replaced at 139k
-rebuiltVE30DE
-T3/60-1 Garret turbo(.63 exhuast/.70 compressor)- about 18K, probably about due for a rebuild, still boost fine
-All new Vibrant couplers replaced at 139k
-370cc injectors
-Tial 38mm wastgate
-Hks SS BOV (vented to atmosphere)
-madreal bent intercooler piping
-29 x 9 x 3 intercooler
-walboro 255
-James wolf tech. ECU/ have stock aswell
-Just replaced the lower part of the down pipe at 139k
-Down pipe was just re-heat wrapped at 139K
-3' exhuast to MeganRacing can
-Aluminum over flow tank
A/C still works great! along with the cruise control!!!
***Transmission***
-Transmission replaced with one that has right around 115k now, no grinds, pop outs nothing! shifts like warm butter
-CV boots replaced at 125k
-12 lbs Fidanza fly wheel
-spec stage 2 organic clutch replaced at 125k
-redline gear oil
-B&M adjustable shifter
***suspension***
-Suspension Technique 1.5 drop springs
-suspension technique sway bars
-KYB GR2 struts Put on at 125k
-Front and Rear upper strut bars
-Gst wheels sprayed black
***Interior***
-full black leather interior, very clean.( no rips, no teas, and no burns)
-Carpet is perfect no tears stains nothing
-New oem nissan floor matts
-factory bose system, cd player still works!
-1 of the rear 6x9's is blown so its unplugged
-Power windows and sun roof all work perfectly
-air/fuel guage
-Pyro guage (measures exhuast temp.)
-boost guage
-3 pod guage pillar needs some way to mount the top screw, still holds fine just sags down a 1/8 of a inch
***Exterior***
-Good Gold paint for the age, clear coat still shines Beautifully with a good wax
-20%tint
-carbon fiber pillars
-has a few dings very few.
-has a few rock chips in the front bumber but all very minor
-spoiler is a little faded
-door moldings/trim has been repaint black (looks great with the black gst wheels)
***extras***
-spare maf
-stock saw blade alloys with decent tires
-spare driver side window regulator (tends to be the only ones that go out)
-spare alternator (brand new in box)
-old starter (cranks slow)
This is all i can think of at this moment i will add things as i remember them.
