Alright I've decided to thin my heard big time. I recently bought a Frontier and just have too many cars. My plans were to swap in a 5spd in one of these but I just don't have the time, so instead I'm gonna get rid of these all and start with a new 3rd gen.

I'm located in Butler, PA, about an hour north of Pittsburgh.

Ok I have 3 Maxima's for sale. One is a parts car, the other two are road worthy but need a little work (all of which can be sourced from the parts car)

Maxima 1:

1992 GXE Auto, 221K on the clock R-titled, owned it since 160K I don't have any super recent pictures of her but here is what I have:



Good:
Power everything (including digital climate)
No tranny problems
New tires
Warpspeed y-pipe
Magnaflow muffler (stock muffler included)
Newer struts in the front and rear
New driver side control arm (with ball joint)
New passenger side ball joint
Will have fresh inspection (its up in May but will pass and I'll get it done before its sold)
New window regulators in EVERY door
Doesn't burn oil
New accessory belts
Good brakes

Bad: Rust is starting to be a problem, mostly cosmetic however.
Battery should be replaced.
Does leak some oil but not enough to be a problem
Dent along the passenger side below the door (a decorative rock in a parking lot didn't like my car )
Need two seperate keys. One for door locks, one for ignition (ignition was replaced by me...girlfriend broke key off in old ignition)
No rear speakers
Door locks are tricky, have to hit unlock 2 times to get the driver side unlocked
Windows sometimes go up with the driver side buttons, other times you have to hit each window button for each window to get them up (intermittent)
Exhaust is loud and annoying
Driver seat is different than passenger and not electric (still have original).



Overall still a great car, I would trust it to drive to Cali. But remember it still does have 221k, so its not brand new.

Maxima 2:

Good:
Only rust is a tiny little bit in the passenger corner, no rust at all other than that!!!!!
Fires right up.
Good glass

Bad:
Needs shocks/struts
Needs tires
Haven't driven it on the road
Needs inspected
Had terrible tan leather; now in the process of swapping to grey cloth interior, all pieces are their and screws bagged and labeled, just needs put together
Need to replace trunk lock mechanism (get from parts car)
Has a name carved into back bumper (again, parts car)
Dents and dings, decent but not great paint


With a little help this car could be a GREAT daily especially with only that tiny bit of rust. If the rust was taken care of now you wouldn't have to ever worry about it.

Maxima 3:

1993 GXE Auto 180K




Good:

Tons of good parts
Tranny was still good when wrecked.

Bad:
Its WRECKED. No front end parts are good (engine block and top end is fine AFAIK)
TONS of structural rust. I put a jack stand through the floorboards .

The reason I want to sell all three as a package is because the pearl white GXE is in the best condition comsmetically and has the most years left in her. The Blue one is still daily driven but if the rust continues it will be bad in a few more years. And well, the parts car just makes sense.

You could easily get the white one on the road and have 2 great cars.

I just don't have the time.

However if their is one you want to buy only, I'm more than willing to entertain any offers and I will sell any individual part off the parts car but not the other two.

Give the white car everything it needs from the other 2. Sell it by itself on locally. Advertise the other 2 as parts cars or sell them to the junkyard.

 

Yeah but I really don't want to take the time to do that. I'd rather try to get rid of all three.

Although its looking as that may be the only viable option.

ha.. nah, my wife would kill me -- I've just go tto get some injectors and front end susp parts for my 92 and get it good to go again.. would love to start over, but i think fixing my current one would be best! lemme konw if you want to sell some injectors off that maroon car!
