I have for sale a 1997 Nissan Maxima, Green exterior, tan cloth interior.
It has 160k on it and counting (I drive it daily). It is a five speed manual (5spd) transmission.
I just purchased this car in February from some folks in Chicago who drove it up from AZ in November 2009. This vehicle has only seen 1 midwest winter and is therefore totally rust free on the structure of the car! I have owned several older Nissans (Altima, Sentra, NX2000, infiniti G20, etc) and rust is the #1 killer of these cars in this region.
The car runs great and has good power. I also have a y-pipe that is supposed to increase performance a bit as well as MPG. It has never been installed and is in the box in the trunk. I will throw it in at $4k, anything less depends ($150 new).
On my last fillup I got 30MPG in this car, it runs awesome!
A/C blows cold, power windows, power locks, stereo plays mp3 and has USB input.
This car has a folder of service records from AZ; the clutch is newer. Since I have owned it I have filled it up with 93 octane and Mobil 1 oil every time. It does have a small oil leak on the front case. Premium fuel (93 octane) is recommended, but NOT required. It gets better gas mileage and is better for the engine so I chose to use it. You'd be fine with 87.
The Maxima also comes with a separate set of Maxima wheels (alloy's - not steelies) with studded snow tires mounted on them. It can handle pretty much anything with these tires, I had no problem getting around in them w/ the snow. The picture with the snow has the snow tires on (you can see the wheels are different).
Asking $4k obo. Please email with quesitons or to schedule a showing.
Pics are the originals from the previous owners, I can get some new ones if needed. I don't know the username on here but I believe they posted on here. It's "Chris" on g20.net
PLEASE email me for best response as I may forget to check here. e l g a b i t o A T g m a i l
I will try to check back for any questions.
$3500 NEW PRICE
