need help on wat to buy

ok HOPEFULLY im selling my maxima next week or soon. puttin all new brakes on it this weekend so now only thing it needs is a o2 sensor besides that a straight running car. but im not sure what i should get yet. i see that the maxima is not the greatest on gas. and i most of my money goes to gas cuz i drive too much.

i know youll get mad but ive thought about civics (they need to have swapped engines or somethin) but i also look at the 300zx n fall in love with those. guys i need some ideas please lol

I dont have any oil problems - and the 6spd is great on gas - save up and you'll realize the power of the 3.5 6spd - beautiful car

You could buy an 00 and buy gas quicker but if the math is correct youll probably spend the difference between gas and the original price of the 00 compared to an 03 6 spd and be left with a bigger engine and something fun to drive

00 gets like 320 a tank? and like 21 miles to the gallon
03 gets 415+ a tank and like 23-26 miles to the gallon

so if an 00 is say 4500-5200 and an 03 (mine) is 6700 you'll probably make out over 2 years with gas and have a better model and resale value - just my .02

On my 98 Max SE I was getting 400 miles per fill up. With my 02 am getting about the same milage (this is with ethanol in the gas). Would get better gas milage without the ethanol, well any car would!

Get an 02/03 with 6spd, it's economical when you need it, and can get up and go..... That's what I have and I love it!

What's your budget? 5.5 gen doesn't have to be an 03. lol
