Details about car:
I purchased this car back in 2003. It was a 98 SE sterling mist on black leather with automatic transmission and 20k. I had it until last year, at which stage it was heavily modded with a vortech supercharger and a full 5spd manual conversion (no CEL). long story short, it got stolen last year and stripped off all the valueable mods including the charger, wheels/tires, brakes, audio, seats etc. I got the car back after 3 months and replaced some of the missing/ damaged parts. The engine/chassy has 83k original miles on it. However the engine has problems. The motor has bad rings and two engine codes (high fuel pressure and IIRC the other one was evap code). this is because i still have the FMU attached to the motor. anyhow, the car turns over right away and drives JUST FINE. however, because of the rings, it idles bad. I high recommend swapping a fresh DEK or DE for about $1000 and it will be a SOLID daily driver/project car. all broken and damaged interior parts have been replaced, there are absolutly no electrical issues or other issues related to the theft at all. interior just needs a radio, drivers floor mat and a shift **** and its a done deal ! i even shampoo all carpet and mats. the exterior panels are solid as well. they were unharmed during the incident. aside from a big dent on passenger fender and a few scratches on rear/front bumpers, a nice detail and buff would bring the paint to LIKE new condition. hardly any dents/ scratches on the car.

i had plans to restore but i just dont have the time or money. smog is coming up and im afraid it wont pass, thus id like to get rid of it. again asking price is $1500 and this can be either a fun project car or even a reliable daily driver with a recommended motor swap.

thanks. $1500 is pocket change compared to what's been stolen off this car, which is mainly why i decided to keep it and build it back. but after one year of sitting on the street and collecting dust, i've decided to let it go.... been there, done that, time to move on. i guess all good things come to an end whether you like it or not.


its hard to let it go and i would keep it if i had a place to store it. believe me i paid upward of $500 just to get it back and easily another $1000 to semi-fix it.

im getting a lot of PM's with people interested and wanting more pictures. i will provide that tomorrow

 

here are the high resolution pictures. once again the greddy exhaust, coilovers and stillen aerokit will NOT be including with the car. if interested, they can be purchased WITH the car for additional charge.

the motor turns over instantly and pulls hard. aisde from idling bad, it drives like a healthy motor. you dont necessarily have to swap it right away because it will run for a long time like this but would probably be hard to pass smog with it. thus a swap is recommended down the line !

 

 

 

 

 

 

as mentioned earlier, the great thing about this car is that it hardly needs any body work. all you need to do is respray front and rear bumpers, pull out the big dent on passenger fender (can be done with hair drier method) and fix the broken tabs on the rear spoiler. after that, do a full detail with a nice buff and the paint will glow. the paint was always maintained in healthy condition, and the interior is in excellent condition as well !

here are a few pix right before it was stolen, you can see that paint was flawless and was not vandalized during theft !!! they just dented/scratched bumpers, broke spoiler and dented passenger fender.

 

yea email them too please thanks and i remember seeing your car on here last year and i got a boner from it lol but damn its still clean but it has a salvaged title correct due to the theft. if i get it im getting it for my sister. but ima talk to doughboy and see when he can scoop me up so we can go check it out.

replied... i havent double checked to see if its been marked as salvaged now but it was reported to dmv/lapd as a stolen vehicle.

Dam I have been looking for a rust free shell with all these options, This color as well. Doubt it has ABS but figured I would ask. I don't have time for a road trip right now but let me see if I can find somebody to pick it up for me.

Shes still in great condition now! Aside from the bumper covers needing to be buffed out and a very minor ding on the passenger fender, its in immaculate condition. You really need to see the interior. Its clean as ****!
