Ive owned this car since '06, wwaayy back when I was in highschool. 5 years later, a couple thousands invested, lots of overnight rachet-spinning, and this is the way my car is today.

Everything is MINT. I cannot express enough how clean everything is: interior, exterior, under-carriage, trunk, etc. The front radiator support has some minor surface rust but it IS NOT rotted through. Ive always washed my car during the winters every week when I use to drive it daily.

My car dyno'd 301whp with the supercharger when it was an automatic and had slipping gears (dyno sheet avail). It is now 5spd with a lightweight flywheel and a clutch to hold its power so its (roughly) ~315whp.

I have a ton of pics to show for of all the work done on the car and the all of the stages it went through. I can go on for days telling stories about every nut and bolt on the car.

Pricing... ....

$6800 obo for the car without the supercharger kit.
$2200 obo for the supercharger kit itself.

$8200 obo for the whole car setup together.

Now I know some may disagree with the price.. oh well. If it doesnt sell, Il just keep it and make it faster. There are people here on the org that can vouch for my work. Thanks for looking.

really? the maxima comes standard with a hood clip under the hood. I really see no reason for hood pins except being cosmetic..

either way clean maxi its a nice one!

Understood that it comes standard with a latch.. But look at my engine bay picture, does my car have a latch smart guy? Thanks for the compliment.

If no one gives me a serious offer on this within a month, Il just have to go horsepower crazy.

Actually, maximas are one of the most depreciating cars on the market. Only way u can sell a maxima at or above book value is by selling it to another maxima enthusiast. I have an 04 and the trade in value is at like 4-5k. I bought it 4 years ago for 17k. Maximas do not hold their value.

Otherwise, glws.

I completely disagree. First of all, you're not even making a remotely fair comparison between what you paid (which without knowing miles, etc. sounds overpriced to begin with) and what the car's trade in value is. You will always pay a premium through a dealer because of the markup and you will always take a major hit on the trade in because they still need to mark it back up to sell it.

Here's my example:

Bought my 2003 a little over 3 years ago with 70K miles for $7900. Clean retail value today according to NADA is $6750 after the $625 reduction for mileage.

high mileage and on a engine w/ a supercharger. C'mon man drop the price..if you are really wanting this gone. I say 7200 for the car and setup..and you will b able to move the car MUCH quicker. anyways I would purchase this car myself If i had the money but it is high mileage so..idk..if its work 8900 even w/ all the mods on the car. Don't get me wrong its a beatiful car..i just dunno if you can get that much for it. BUMP

thnx for more pics man..they are pretty sexy.

I know I wont get what i want for it, but thats why Im open to a serious offer. Il drop the price, if you were to come by my house, check it out on a serious intent to buy, offer me 7200, I'd let you take it as it is for 7700ish.. But, as you said, if you had the money.

High mileage means nothing, trust me.. With the cars I've seen around my area, Id stick to my 2001 159k miles over a 90k miles Maxima with everything else you can imagine wrong with it.

Thanks though.

If you're not buying the car then why are you so concerned about it. Unbelievable how lately in the classifieds everyone thinks they're a walking talking KBB with expertise on how everyone else should be selling their cars.

Try buying a 5th gen and modding it the way his car is. There's no way in hell you're gonna come in at less than 8900. It probably can't even be done for under 10k.

Ahah thanks, but its fine. I understand that 8900, or even 7500 is alot to ask for in cash for a modded car.

Permission to sig a line from your quote though.

I got a little heated before with that, but it really pisses me off the way people have been sh1tting on other people's for sale threads lately. It's like going to a garage sale just to tell the person that you don't like their prices or what they're selling without any intentions of actually buying anything.

And permission granted for the sig quote, live it up.

If you look around on the rhode island classifieds for 00-01 maximas privately owned people are asking between 3000-6000 stock...add in a fresh paint job some nasty wheels his supercharger and right there youre over 9k easily not to mention everything else done to the car, ive seen his car in person before the paint job and even then it was worth what he wants car looks sick and is nice as hellf i had the loot id buy it on the spot for what hes asking , if you knew a maxima youd know they run forever with proper upkeep to them GLWS V i hope you get what youre looking....and if for some reason i win the lotto in the meantime ill be coming visit you lol
