only slightly negotiable if any, i just had to put a few hundred into the transmission, excluding the time i put in it. Although this is definitely cheaper than if I had brought the car down to a shop and paid for labor, Id have to bump the price to over $2k to recoup that cost

Man, I can't believe this still hasn't sold.

It's weird because I had NO problem selling my old black VE a year or so ago. I sold it the day after posting it on CL for $1,850 (only a little bit below my asking price). It had 190k-ish miles and the paint was all faded on the hood and roof too.

I figured this car would be a quick sale especially now since i fixed the tranny problem. Spring is here so maybe it will sell soon.. Although the car hasnt changed visually, ill probably wash it and post some updated pictures

This is when I find myself wishing I was mechanically inclined. This would be a fun car to have as an extra vehicle. When I was in high school my parents had a light green 1990 Maxima that they got when it was a year old. It was an auto but I loved driving that car.

dam man hows it going!

Yeah if your still in pursuit of a car come buy this one. Considering their age now, this is still an overall solid car

Im married to mine though at this rate (my original 92) im never getting what i put into it and also seeing as this one hasnt sold yet. I never modded it, just kept up with maitenenace, oil changes, etc

Have you sold it yet? I'm surprised it's lasted this long... very clean from the pics! Any rust?

Your car brings back memories....

I was going to ask the same thing. IIRC the 3rd gens had a common problem with the strut towers rotting out and the cars basically collapsing on themselves.

This is the only rust to speak of, and even this is not much-

I havent been agressively pushing the ad as much as i should, but the car is still for sale. Where are the 3rd gen fans hiding?

Edit - ignore that front door panel laying there in the backseat, the interior is fully intact. it was there from my other VE when i had it off to fix something

If you were on the west coast I might buy this just for another run around car (kind of the way you bought it for). Always loved the 3rd Gen's like that. Very hard car to find! Hope you have some great luck selling it!

I have been looking for something like this. I am so glad I found this. I will be contacting you shortly. Of course I wont be able to come look at it myself since I am in kansas city, but I will arrange a carrier if need be.

replied to your Pm but I'll post here for anyone else- 181k miles right now

Clutch is in good shape, its a factory clutch, no slipping or chattering or noises. Im not sure when it was last replaced, it was the same clutch in it when i bought the car 16k miles ago, and its been working great the entire time ive been driving it

yeah not too bad, got lucky. I realize it may hinder the sale since alot of people who were hit hard by the storm have more important priorities right now than buying a car. But to those who want it, its for sale! Including those out of state; James you should buy it, i think you could use a 3rd
