WV 2005 6 speed, all options but nav
2005 6 speed, all options but nav
I'll have pictures tomorrow but wanted to go ahead and post this up before I change my mind again.
It's a dark blue 2005 SE with the 6 speed standard transmission. 89,000 miles and going up daily. I'll start off with the bad and if you make it through that you can read the good.
Bad news: The front bumper has some scrapes on it, transmission drips, driver's seat is showing some wear like cracking leather, and the front end makes noises. I don't know WTF it is. Sometimes it sounds like a bad tierod, sometimes a motor mount, sometimes sounds like the subframe is loose. Drove it 200 miles over the weekend, didn't fall apart. I've been under it several times now and everything is tight but I haven't taken it anywhere yet. A couple months ago I got a check engine light for a "catalyst efficency below threshold". A few weeks later I unhooked the battery for some other reason and the check engine light has not come back on.
Good news: Everything works and it seriously has a killer AC system. Power heated memor front seats, heated steering wheel, folding mirrors, Bose stereo with 6 disc changer, sliding sunroof, HIDs, tinted windows (35% front and probably 5% rear) and I installed a reese hitch and did the wiring. Car has a Fujita CAI and cattman y-pipe as the only mods. Stock wheels had a ton of rash so it's got stock 18" from a 2009 on it. Within the past 15,000 miles I put on new pads and rotors on the front and back (good ones), new lower front control arms/ball joints, swaybar bushings and end links, KYB GR2 struts and shocks, Tein lowering springs (only on the front, the rear ones are still in the box), tires are goodyear eagle F1's with I'd say 1/2 tread or a little more. Probably more stuff I'm forgetting. Honestly you could get in the car and drive it anywhere.
$9,000 takes it along with brand new cattman headers, brand new exedy clutch kit (was going to replace when I pulled the transmission to fix the leak). Stock clutch is perfectly fine though. Also have a set of lightly used racingline traction rods or whatever they're called.

Forgot to mention it had a clean and clear carfax when I bought it 2 years ago. I have had no accidents with it so it better still have a clean report.
