FS (for next to nothing) Max SE 5-spd with some mods
I've made the decision to not try and repair my Max so I'm looking to get rid to it asap. If no one on this board wants it, then the next call will be the junkyard. I was going to call the junkyard today, but then thought it would be good to post it on the Maxima forum since all of you on the forum have been so helpful in the past.
1996 Max SE 5-Spd

Original clutch

Stillen catback
Stillen front strut brace
Stillen rear sway bar
Eibach springs
Offset hub insert for rear wheels ~1/2"
A set of stainless braided brake lines (not installed)
Stock razorblade wheels
Shortened shifter mod
Missing passenger airbag
Sony Xplod amp in trunk
DEI remote starter
1 key
2 fobs
I have the title.

old sony receiver
old polk speakers
grey cloth interior
Here is what is bad about the car:
- will not start primarily because the battery dead. It last started in summer 2011.
- hood will not open, hence cannot charge or boost the battery
- when last started in the summer. I drove it around the neighborhood, but it will overheat relatively quick because of the bad water pump. maybe could have gotten 1-2 miles.
- bad water pump
- overheated. might be some valve damage
- cracked windshield
- some rust on the trunk lid by the spoiler mounts
- missing passenger airbag
- stock wheels has some corrosion
- rusty brake rotors because it has not moved in a while
- leaky tires on the stock wheels. some old blizzaks.
- dent in the roof above rear passenger door from a roof rack
- small scuffs and dings all around.
Conditions of the sale:
- have to take it all. I'm not parting out anything.
- cash
- have to tow it away. no major overhauling it on my driveway.
- the offer should be higher than what a salvage yard would offer.
Please think about this sale and let me know right away. I'm not sure how much longer I am going to wait before calling the junkyard.

Added item to the Conditions of the sale list:
- the car must be removed from my place within 1 week of the accepted offer.
I called a local junkyard and he offered $275 cash to pickup the car tomorrow. So, the BEST offer (not necessarily the first offer) I get that is more than $275 will be the new owner of the Max.
No more pictures of the car is available that what is shown in the album under cyjad2. The junkyard is willing to take it without any pictures.

Thought of one more thing to add to the condition of the sale:
- the sale is final and for the car AS IS. I initially just assumed this was the case, but now I thought I should just state it clearly. Basically the same conditions if a junkyard were to buy the car.
Addition to mod list:
Stillen K&N filter in place of the stock airbox. Stock airbox is not available.
Stock springs (4) are included.

Hi cyjad. I hope this post is ok, if not, let me know and I will delete it. My thought here is this may benefit both of us, if your car is still available.
I have a 95 Maxima for sale right here http://forums.maxima.org/maximas-sal...pd-2200-a.html for $2200 obo. Runs great, is in good condition inside and out, but the input bearing shaft on the trans is going so that needs to be fixed. Someone could buy cyjad's car and my car, get the trans swapped (and whatever else from the mods), and have a good running 95 Maxima with cyjad's 96 Maxima for any spare parts you may want to keep. It would end up being a pretty cheap way since any used car with mileage will need work...you have an opportunity for a car and a spare here!
