FS: 1995 Pebble Beige GXE Auto $600
Its a sad thing to do but my 95 Nissan Maxima is up for sale.
It has been a great car for me over the last 10 years and I'll be very sad to see her go.
Price: $600
Color: Pebble Beige exterior on Black Leather Interior
Trans: Automatic
Mileage: 256,000
Location: Lumberton, NJ
I'm technically the 3rd owner of the car. My mother bought it in 1996 from the original owner in practically brand new condition. I got it from her in Jan 2003 with less than 100,000 miles on her and drove her up until last week when I purchased a 2005 Grand Cherokee.
She currently needs work in order to be road worthy again. I will list all known problems here so you aren't surprised by anything. I'd recommend towing it but could probably be driven a short distance.
Does not have current Inspection, expired in June and I never took it to get done. I've never failed inspection before but it would need work to pass this time.
Needs a muffler, mid pipe is ok but the muffler is rusted out and not connected just beyond the flange above the axle.
Needs front lower control arm bushings.
Misfire in Cylinder #3 (back center) from bad spark plug tube seal allowing oil onto the plug and coil pack
Black 16" SE wheels
Tires are all the same size but are not the same brand or tread.
The good, body is in decent shape for the age and mileage. Bumper paint is faded and theres a slight dent in the hood.
New Alternator installed less than 8,000 miles ago
New Battery installed last winter
New Rear brake calipers, rotors, and pads installed in April, less than 10,000 miles on them.
Working throttle body and IACV installed 10,000 miles ago.
Black leather heated seats with i30 headrests, woodgrain trim, i30 auto dimming mirror, and interior chrome door handles. (I added all of that)
Front clear corners, Red rear turn signals. 97-99 Front headlights
Blue Led interior and Reverse indiglo gages however some bulbs are out and the reverse gages don't always work. Red LED needles always work.
White LED dome lights.
Until it started to miss fire the other week I had never had any problems with the engine and the transmission has always shifted smooth.
All glass is intact and all windows and sunroof work.
It was never raced or beat on, just my daily driver for 10 years.
Pioneer 3 way 6.5" speakers in the doors and Pioneer 4 way 6.5" speakers on the deck.
I have a 97-99 trunk lid with spoiler I'll throw in with the sale if wanted.
I have the stock tape deck that I'm going to return to it, however it currently has a Pioneer 8000bt double din radio with ipod connection and bluetooth. I'll leave that in for an extra $75.00
Here she is with my new Jeep
These wheels are gone now, roof rack available for sale with or without the car though. 200 bucks for the whole rack, feet pack, locks, keys, 4th gen fit kit, load bars, fairing, and snowboard attachment with locks.
97 Trunk with spoiler

Tons of useless craigslist interest.....
I think someone here should grab this and turn it into an awesome project.

Yea I knew I was going to let her go and move on to another vehicle so I couldn't justify getting a muffler and the other things it needed to pass inspection. Didn't get stopped once since June for the expired inspection! Luck.

Damn, $600.....good deal. Just curious, so it has a check engine light? because I am sure you would pass with a loud muffler......Nj inspection only checks for CE light, gas cap pressure, codes, and or sniffer test; no windshield cracks, brakes, wipers, horn, etc. I think exhaust volume is not an issue for inspection.

It does have a CEL as well for a #3 cylinder missfire from oil getting in from the bad spark plug tube seals.
Being a 95 it doesn't have to be plugged in to the OBD 2 even though the car has it.

Yes Papo99 is coming to see it on Saturday. If he doesn't take it I'll get in touch with you to come see it.
$600 bucks and you can have the car and other spare parts I have for free.

The price is set where it is because it needs work. If I were to fix the issues myself I'd be asking at least 1000 bucks.
Car is still for sale. I'm available Saturday or Sunday for anyone that wants to come see it.

I'm free till 5 on sat and basically all day sun
#33
Ok but just so you know I'm not parting the car out, for sale as a whole only.

what sort of shape is the body, as in rust wise and rust on the core support and the side panels under the door area (where the lift points are), i saw it had a rusted muffler but hows the rest of the body, the pics dont show much rust cept a little on the front fender...does the roof rack screw into the body of the car or is it held up by the closed doors
