*auto or stick? This is important, I don't get why ppl never mention it.
*You have non-4th gen SE wheels, you don't mention that. You mention new tires but not different wheels?

$2500 is likely unrealistic for that mileage, sorry to say.
But glws

$2500 MIGHT BE unrealistic on this forum, bit not to the general public. I'm sure he/she can get $2000-2500 out of a local buyer through other sources of advertisement (Craigslist, AutoTrader, etc...) as long as the car is pretty well maintained regardless of the mileage. If you haven't been scoping out the older used car market lately, you're in for a surprise. I cannot believe some people are buying and selling rusted, neglected cars for ridiculous prices. I'm not implying anything in regards to the condition of this car, but used car prices are ridiculous at the current moment...well at least in the area I live in. OP, GLWS!

True enough. I just bought my 99 SE with 140K on it, and I spent 2700. And listing it at 2500 OBO is a good move, I will give you that. BUT, especially to the other sources, 200K is extremely high mileage and those who don't know Maximas are likely more reluctant to pop over 2gs on a 17 year old car with 200K on the clock.

Counterpoint: I just (last week) sold my 97 GrandAm with 195K on it for 1600.

While true that used car prices are high, depending on the area, there will always be someone to fork over more cash than a car is worth (and really, the car is worth what someone will pay for it). I wasn't meaning to rag on the OP, but my impressions on the car (in my area) tell me that 2500 is an unrealistic price. But you are correct, to someone else who may not know (or care) about maxima vs altima vs GrandAm.....it might sell for that.

Used car prices are crazy here in the VA area as well. I see sketchy cars at those shady mom & pop dealerships near military bases all the time. It is nothing for me to see them trying to get $5,000 for a 93' to '98 Honda Accords with 130-175k miles on them...

thanks for more pictures! Car looks immaculate. I have a few questions I hope you can answer

Leaks. After your car has been parked for a while do you see anything on the concrete as you pull away? Power steering fluid, oil, etc?

How about the auto trans. Be honest, how does it shift? Any trans problems in the past? Are you a 1st,2nd,3rd owner of this Max? How long have you driven this Max? Is there a title and a carfax report available?

With all work receipts does that include receipts since 1995? How about an engine light, Is it on?

Sunroof. Does it or has it ever leaked to your knowledge?

Any other modifications that you have done underneath the hood/exhaust/Intake? Or is it bone stock?

How is the car rusting? Can you take a minute and see how the exhaust is doing rust-wise or behind the front bumper at the lower radiator support?

Spark plugs, brake pads, brake rotors, have you serviced these parts since you have had the car?

Lastly, how does the car start? Ever replaced the starter? 95/96's are notorious for a quick failing starter as I've been through 3 in 6 years

Thanks man! I might be interested in this hence my questions, so don't take it the wrong way.
