Feeler 99 I30 automatic 00vi w/168k miles
Feeler for my 99 I30 Automatic with 168K miles as is. The engine runs strong. I drive about 25k miles a year with most of them highway miles. *It had 122K when I got the car *The Color is Bronze/ Grayish Leather. *It is also factory
VLSD car. *I would love to see an enthusiast buy this car. *The car
was my mothers who bought it new. *My mother was diagnosed with cancer
and basically could no longer drive and she gave the car to me 2 years
ago. *My mother has since passed away.
As you can see below I put a decent amount of work into the car. *I
have a young son, small boat, wife has an older car, and I have an toy
vehicle. *I also have an old house. The time I spend working on the
I30 takes I have to work on my toy vehicle. *I ended up buying a new
car, that I am picking up next week. I will post some picture through
out the week.(I want to wash and vacuum the car first)
The bad.
My AC clutch died a 2 weeks ago. *The clutch make some rattle sounds.
If your turn the A/C on, the A/C chirp whirls, but the compressor
doesn't engage.
The car clunks taking slow sharp turns. *I know the passenger side
strut mount hits the top hat, I took it apart but ran out of time ot
fix it, I think the driver side does the sme thing. *I was going to
take a grinder to it to clearance it, I just never got around ot
fixing it.
Rust, my two front fender are rotted near the rockers. (The rockers
are still solid) I have a rust spot on the drivers rear wheel arch
from where someone swipped it around 2005 in a park lot and took off.
The rest of the two rear wheel arches are just starting to bubble with
rust. *It has some dimples on the passenger rear door from a parking
lot as well.
The ABS / Tranction Control does not work. *I not 100% what is wrong.
I tried to take the driver ABS sensor out and snapped the bolt off in
the spindle, the sensor was frozen in the spindle anyways. *My dad had
removed the IP cluster lights for the ABS/TC.
Despite negatives, it can be drive as is. I have a long highway commute so driving long distances on the highways gets old.
Everything else works on the car, the driver seat heated seat LED is
out, but the heated seat still works. *i am really picky about having
my cars in perfect working order. *The interior is excellent shape,
only a little wear on the driver seat. *Carpet/OEM floor mats are in
excellent shape for the mileage.
Mods
00VI with 4th Gen drilled lower intake, 5th gen rear cover/5th Gen
coils, Stephen Max TB adapter and IACV plate and RPM switch
5th Gen Air Box and resonator
Catmann Y-Pipe
2.5" Catback Exhuast, 12" resonator and Dynomax Quiet Flow muffler (I
actually tried 4 muffler before I found one I like) *The car is not
very loud but a has little rumble that wouldn't be confuse for a
stock.

Synthetic Oil since Day 1, my dad religious changed the oil every 5000 miles. If I use only 93 octane.
I want $1500 firm as is. *I am firm on the price. *It includes the
snow tires and original intake parts. *I am not parting it out. I would prefer to sell it some who is not going to part it out, I could have easily traded it in but hose not to.
If no one is interested I will fix the A/C and maybe pull the front struts.

Car is sold. I was a little surprised their was no interest from this website. I spent $1250 on 00vi, stephen max adapters, rpm switch, cattman ypipe and 2.5" custom catback exhaust. The first person to see my car pretty much bought it before he test drove it. He said it was Mint compared to all the other other ones he looked at, ran stronger and drive better than them as well. Maybe I priced it little too low, oh well.
