NJ Gauging interest in selling 98 5spd
complete part out 98 5spd or sale for 1200
Im thinking about selling my Max. More on the side of selling it. As the title states its a 98 5spd. Motor has 98000 miles on it. Shell has 260000. My daily driver and i drive from northern nj to hazlet everyday so with work alone i put on about 90 miles a day.
Car has SRI with K&N cone filter, Warpspeed y pipe, Short shifter, and is lowered 2.0 in the front and 2.2 in the rear on Tein s-techs. Car also has dual gauge pod with volt and oil psi. has bose speakers and sony headunit also. The car is fun to drive and fast as hell. oh also has fidanza flywheel. Seller can also have the 00vi and vafc2 i have for it and the unorthodox udp. i have for it also with the sale.
Cons. Motor blown. need to get rid of this ASAP. The passenger side doors and fender need to be replaced due to some ***@$%& that hit the car with a bat out of anger. they were replaced but need to be repainted.
also there is a CEL for the Map sensor valve that needs to be replaced but it doesnt effect performance, drivability or anything. There is also a tear in the drivers side seat but a worn drivers seat is expected in a 14 year old car. Really a fun car to drive but i want to go a different route in the car game so its time to let the max go.
im askin $1200 for it. which given the fact that mechanically the car is good i think thats a fair price. text me at 973-568-1153 or pm me here.
As far as maintenance, oil changes every 3000 miles with mobil 1 synthetic, transmission was checked out and has fresh amsoil gear oil in there. new starter, new battery,relatively new alternator. i also gave fresh gates belts to go with the udp or just to change whenever also. im sure that there is other stuff i may be forgetting but just hit me up and ill answer any questions.
