Little bit about my baby:
Maxima 96 GLE
Looks originally, sun roof, cd-mp3 (after market), leather, 17" allow wheels - Nissan, led's everywhere - where I can put it, of course.
New: drive shaft, steering rack boots, front upper strut mount, alternator, radiator and few water hoses, enjectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, syntetic oil, few sensors - I don't know which one...
I bought her in 2008 with 86.000 now 183.000 runs wery good.
I've been reading a lot of posts in here - You, guys are really funs of Maxima, me too, but I decided to sell it, because I can't keep it in good shape - have no time to do the things by myself. Thats why I post this thread before I put her to craigslist. I know it hard to find now good maxima 4th gen in wery good condition as mine.
I will post pictures shortly.
I'm first time posting here, don't know how it work, hopefully I didn't do anything wrong...

what happened to your strut mount that it needed to be replaced? Not anything that can fail on it. Do you mean the insulator?

 

Had strange sound when turning the wheel - me and trusted mechanic decided that it's upper strut mount - changed it - noise gone,,,

sorry to sound like a *** but are you seriously trying to sell a 96 with 180k miles for 5k? i think you should ask 2-3k

 

I'm trying - you right. Price for much worth car here in CA, bay area - 5500 - 6000.

 

glad i live in pa then, sheesh.

 

I can get a 5th gen with less miles for $4-4.5k.

goodluck i bought my 2003 with 11k invested in mods and 79k miles for 5300

 

Yes sir, 5500 or 6000 out of your mind, got my 02 for 4400 with 146,000 your Max on Craigslist goes for less than 3k, check Craigslist for comparsion....

 

in nj a 96 maxima goes for 600-2000 lol

this is just as bad as the other thread 50k maxima cause they both wont get there price
