2003 6-speed w/hsld 86K

I am the original owner of the 03 merlot on black cloth. Original engine and clutch, haven't raced, tracked, autocross or any other competitive events. Mods are minor: clear side markers, front strut tower bar [fstb], tokico illuminas with vogtland springs. I couldn't resist using the G35 18" on the maxima, after seeing the other members ride with them. Have the original 17"oems with bridgestone sport with about 80-90% tread on to negotiate or side deal.

Car has clean title in hand but in minor accident, I was rear ended about a year ago. New bumper and bumper cover, the old cover was getting so pitted like the front. It's the inferior quality of the nissan's oem paint, chips way too easily. All oil/filter changes were done by me, mobile1 full synth every 3-4K. Have documentation, parts reciepts and other services performed. It doesn't have the power steering leak but it will need a lower control arm, passenger side. Just do a search on the forums, it's common issue among 5th/5.5th geners.

No, that's standard climate control instead of the optional digital climate control..

thanks SAK74 for pointing that one out http://forums.maxima.org/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

yes base model, cloth seats, no sunroof, no merian pkg, no polished titanium pkg. it does have auto dimming interior mirror, trip computer, power doors/windows, nissan alarm with ignition immobilizer, in-cabin filter, power driver seat. most importantly it has the helical limited slip differential, 6speed manual with the 255hp/3.5V6 that's gets pretty good highway mileage[~25-28mpg] and pretty amazing factory numbers of 0-60 under 6secs and 1/4 mile in mid to high 14's. overall, mix of city/highway, mileage is usually only 20mpg and on premium [91octane in CA]

will probably need ball joints replacement or maybe the entire lca. do a search, lots of threads about this, DJfrestyl and SoonerFan have very good threads about both, respectively.

036mtmax, thanks manhttp://forums.maxima.org/images/smilies/smile.gif
