2003 SE, White, 6-speed

*** SOLD ***

Car has about 146,000 miles. I have an Eclipse head unit w/Navigation (5435 is the model number, I believe), small amp under passenger seat and mid-grade speakers in stock locations. I have the stock 17" wheels with winter tires, which will come with the car. I also have just about every other stock part as well (exhaust, suspension, etc.). I have all the paperwork for services. I am the original owner and have put all the miles on the car. Never smoked in, rarely eaten in.

Mods:
18x8.5 Enkei GTC01 Hyper Black | Continental Extreme Contact DWS 245/40/18
Boss Chen Coilovers
Cattman Headers/Y-pipe/Catback
JWT Popcharger
FSB
RSB
2K4 Front caliper/rotor upgrade (Slotted on all 4)
35% tint all around
Bat Overlays
Full Stillen Classic Lip Kit
Blacked out grille, emblems, trim
Eclipse 5435 Navigation/CD player, speakers, amp

Things to note: Car has the annoying valve lifter tick. Dealer assures me it is not harmful, it is just an annoying sound. Front pads are at 3mm, so they will probably need replacement soon.

Rob

I can take more/specific pics if needed. The one below is the most recent....taken after a wash and polish.

Rob, long time man! Beautiful car. I just picked up an I35 otherwise I would have serious interest in yours. I think I drive by your neighborhood on the way to the outlets.

Anywho, good luck with the sale.

If you're going down Ft Evans road, then you are passing right by.

Bumpity bump.

Changed price to $6000.

While some might say that is high, I am including two sets of wheels (the Enkei's could probably be sold for $1000) as well as many quality go fast parts installed by reputable shops. I don't expect to get everything back for my mods, but think this price is more than fair.

I'd really like to sell this car....someone make me a reasonable offer. I'd rather it go to an enthusiast on this site than to trade it in at a dealer.

Also could you take a couple more pics please? Interior, side, front and does it burn oil? My 2002 started burning oil badly and then jumped time. Which was a shame cause I loved that car

Not that I know of, I still drive it daily to work with no issues. Car still runs strong and pulls hard with the Cattman setup.

It does not burn oil. I will take some more pics tomorrow during the daytime and post them up ASAP.

Not sure why I didn't mention this, but in case it wasn't obvious, I own the car and have the title.

The 17" stock wheels with winter tires have probably 75% tread life, if not more.

The 18" Enkei wheels (the one's in all the pics) have the Continental Extreme Contact DWS and my best guess would be at least 65% tread life.

Just curious about that lifter tick. I had an 02 and an 03 altima with the tick. Both were due to oil burning. It wasn't BAD oil burning, but I'd have to add at least a quart of oil once or twice everything 3k miles. The tick would go away after I added oil. I was told it was a sump tick and it wasn't able to draw in enough oil, which was why it was ticking. Just moved back to the mainland from Hawaii and looking for a car. This is in the price range, so that's why I'm curious.

As far as I know, it is just a valve lifter tick...no burning oil issue. I've confirmed with my service guy at Brown's Nissan (many times) that it is just an annoyance, as opposed to a problem. While I can't guarantee anything, that is what he has told me. Car runs great and has plenty of giddy up when needed (with the full Cattman exhaust). I already have my new car, so I am not putting any more miles on the Max.

If you are in the area and want to come check it out, shoot me a PM and we can set something up.

Thanks.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I'll let you know. I should be making decisions sometime this week on a car to buy. Are there any rust issues with it being in winters every year?

I have not noticed any, no. I like to keep extra care of the exterior of the car. Always polished with Menzerna products and protected with Zaino. Shinesike new for a 10 year old car.

My dad has a stock 2003 SE , same color combo as yours with 9K miles. My mom has a 2002 with 12k miles,

Just replaced the rotting belts and tires on both cars

Figured I'd give your thread a bump and bore people at the same time, lol

If I didn't drive them when I visit they would have half the mileage

Hopefully some kid at the tire place grabbed the almost new ( thread wise) tires and had a blast burning some rubber
