My money-grubbing landlord where I work on cars has decided he would rather milk people out of more money that keep a long-term renter or maybe he just doesn't like people that work on cars. So, anyways, I've got to be out of my shop by the end of September. That means I've got to get rid of some things, since there is nothing available close by on such short notice.

Here is what I have:

• 2003 Black Maxima SE
• 245000 miles
• Engine is there and ran when I last parked it
• No tranny
• Interior is the grey color
• No stereo
• No carpet
• Seats are there but the back seats are missed-matched and dirty. Front drivers seat has been parted for a few items and the cloth seat cover is gone. Airbags are still with the seats.
• Interior plastic pieces have been removed, but most of them should be there.
• Drivers window regulator has been removed but the glass is still with the car
• Front windshield is cracked
• Front bumper is gone
• Passenger front quarter panel is gone and the rocker panels are gone
• Rest of body is pretty straight, back bumper is dinged up
• Has moon roof with air deflector
• Exhaust has been removed, but I still have it, if you want it
• Wheels are there, but the tires are shot
• I have a second engine from a 2002 that I'll throw in, if it is still available when you pick up the car. It had 145K on it but needs new head-gaskets, from what I can tell, and the timing chain guides need replaced. This has had some parts removed that were transferred over to the 2006 engine that went in the 2002

Here's the deal. I've got to move the car by the middle of September so I can get out of the space by the end of the month. So, I can't go about parting the car out (it would take too much time at this point). That was my plan from the beginning, was to sell all the parts I didn't need when the 2002 was done. If you want to make all the arrangements for shipping, I'll gladly ship it, but I won't be able to make arrangements.


Car is located just outside of Raleigh, NC with close access to the Highway.


I'm asking $600 for it - there is easily more than that in sell-able parts. If the car doesn't sell by the middle of September then I will just have to break down and sell it to the scrap yard. So, I wanted to give you all a chance to get it and use the parts.

Which wheels are on it? any chance of selling them separately?

 

Sorry, haven't been on for a while. Been too busy moving. I believe the wheels on it are the typical 2002/3 SE style wheels.



I guess I could part them out for the right price. PM me what you're thinking.
