GA 1995 Maxima GLE, Auto, beige, automatic 3.0l v6, 316K miles, Norcross , GA. $300. Currently not running, will have to be towed. I’ve had this car for 14 years – 234,000 of those miles are mine. It was great to me and I wanted to keep driving it as my around town beater. But in August 2015 the alternator caught on fire. Had the alternator & harness replaced, it passed inspection, drove it, then in April '16, the red battery light & the red Brake light came on while I was driving (same as right before it caught on fire) & I started losing power. Pulled in the driveway and it died. Tested battery, was still good. Charged it up, drove the car around, no red lights came on, but you could tell it was weak and I was too afraid to drive it very far. It has been sitting since then.
Leather interior is in great shape – emergency brake cover has a small worn spot in it. Steering wheel leather has fallen off.
Tilting/Sliding sunroof works like new and never leaked (still doesn't). All lights work great. Stock Bose radio works great. Windshield cracked at top, in tinted area. Tires are about 2 years old. Body damage on driver’s side rear door & quarter panel from exploding tire tread and a woman who bumped me thinking she wasn’t in the left turn lane (I can get the police report). Paint is scraped on all 4 corners of bumpers, slight indentation in hood (I had a teenage boy while I had this car).
Unfortunately I can’t part it out where I live, so only the entire car is for sale. I’m in Norcross, GA. Car has to gone from my driveway one way or another by 7/31.
