PA '01 SE 20th Anniv SandStone, Auto, 144k, $1900
'01 SE 20th Anniv SandStone, Auto, 144k, $1900
SOLD !!
2001 20th Anniversary automatic, 144k miles, sand silver exterior or whatever they call it
Cashmere interior (light beige or whatever)
Meticulously maintained and CLEAN
Driver's seat showing wear but everything WORKS
All within the last 2 years:
Pro's:
1. Paint is in excellent condition, no dings/dents
2. Hankook ZR tires
3. Eibach 1" lowering sport springs on Monroe struts
4. New pass side rear caliper and new rear pads on both sides
5. New lower control arms
6. Sway bar bushings and end-links replaced
7. Poly rear trailing arm bushings
8. New alternator
9. New passenger side long axle
10. New rear ABS wheel speed sensors
11. New rear exhaust section, OEM look, oval tip
12. Front cross-member repaired, re-enforced vertical hood support
13. Car cruises at 100+ mph without issue, super reliable and looks awesome
14. Does not burn oil. 5k mile oil change intervals
15. Alcantara A-pillars (black), custom factory looking for audiophile tweeter installation
The not so bad but full disclosure:
1. Driver side seat up/down control is intermittent. Set it and forget it
2. A/C compressor bearing starting to make a little bit of jangle noise. Works perfect, but will probably need a new clutch bearing in 50k miles or so
3. One headlight is HID LED and the other side is an OEM bulb. Call me weird, I like the blend
4. Rear bumper is spidered a bit here and there but not noticeable from 5ft
5. The only minor barely noticeable leak is a transaxle seal and it only drips if the axle and seal align at that "spot". Never needs topped off. Barely a drip.
6. I bought the car with 100k on it and it had a cold 1 to 2 barely noticeable trans shift slip (only when cold). Changed the fluid and filter and added a Zmax trans seal/clutch fluid conditioner, not an issue now
7. Driver seat side bolster for cushion and upper bolster section splitting. I never see it, I'm always sitting there
8. Bose system gone. Car comes with a double din aftermarket stereo and 4ch Kenwoody amp, Kenwood front XR series speaker separates and Rockford 6.5" door speakers in rear. It rocks better than Blose, trust me.
9. Roof paint in middle, center is fading a bit. Rest of car paint is AWESOME, but... #10
10. There is minor rust rot around the perimeter edge of the rear wheel wells. Not noticeable by the non-Maxima owner, no poke thru's at all. I have been touching up with factory paint and keeping it nice and under control
11. I will miss this car. I had a new '99 back in the day and then wanted a 20th Anniversary, so I bought one. Now time to move on!
If you've made it this far, this is an awesome car in both aesthetics and mechanical/electrical operation. Diamond in the rough if you're an enthusiast or someone looking for a better than average joe commuter car or even a long highway cruising hauler
Photos later.. 1st stab at this... Buy it before Thanksgiving for $1,900.00

Oil changes every 5k miles for the last 2 years.
All of the maintenance items in the first post were done in the last 2 years also.
Forgot to mention that I have a spare wheel for it also tho it's silver and not the anniversary platinum/bronze color
