last winter, somebody ran a stop sign and scraped my 3rd gen GXE. the damage isn't that bad, its a dent in the passenger fender, and along both doors. insurance totaled it and paid out. I had initially planned to get some junkyard doors and fender and replacing it, but with college and all there really isn't the time for that and I've been considering getting it out of my driveway. That said, I don't really want to scrap it and take another 3rd gen out of the world, they're beautiful cars and always get recognized by somebody. especially since this one has a complete blue interior, I'd rather it go to somebody looking for a project or something who was the time and resources to restore it, if possible. the car runs and drives, although it doesn't sound happy about turning left, probably the wheel rubbing against the bent fender. everything works as of the last time I drove it in the winter, although it might need a new battery soon due to sitting. before i owned it, the car was garage kept since brand new. as far as I'm aware there isn't frame damage, but it was a total loss due to the age and lack of new replacement parts available. I understand its a little silly to say "hey does anybody want a totaled car", but I figure there's gotta be somebody looking for a project. before the accident, I had new front struts/shocks put it, a new thermostat and remanufactured radiator, and the speedometer was serviced due to intermittently not working (it worked consistently the last time I drove it.), alongside regular oil changes ever 3-4k miles. 131k miles on the original engine, I believe the previous owner rebuilt the transmission. asking for $1000 USD or best offer. car is located on Long Island, NY
