I highly suggest to make reservations for your hotel rooms now if you haven't done so now. Also what I suggest is try to get someone else to share a room with you as well to save money.

 

I just called to make my reservations... but they have no clue what I'm talking about when I say maxima.org... She was like, "is this a wedding... or a volleyball game?" I told her it was a group meet/car show... but she said she wasn't showing anything on the books for June 22 & 23 for that price. What do I need to ask for!?!?!? And we are only getting a $5 discount?

 

jdmaxima, it depends who you get on the phone there! A woman I spoke to, asked if the stay was in reference to one of 3 weddings they have or for the Maxima car show event! FYI, all single guys who are staying, yes there are supposedly three different weddings going on in the area and maybe there will be lots of single "womens" (plural, plural) that have rooms there too! Maybe just share a room with one or two or three of the ladies! Party time! Oh, btw if you are a AAA member, not AA member, you can show your AAA card for an additional 10% off the room! Ok... I just made my reservations. The lady said that she talked to her sales manager, and there WAS a group price for the Maxima car show... but the group never followed through with the contract.. so there is no group price now for anyone. I'm paying $89 a night, so the discount was only $5... but you guys may want to call and confirm what you'll be paying since you booked it with the discounted price.

 

Not sure why you guys didn't get the discount. I'll go today right after work to work things out. All of this should be worked out after 5pm central time. Sorry about the confusion.

Just talked to them, I guess I had to sign a contract, but we need to at least reserve 10 rooms to get the discount. Just say its for the Maxus, or the Maxima meet and hopefully the person at the desk will know what you are talking about. If not, try talking to Emily she knows what the reservation is for. As far as I know so far there is about 4 rooms that have been reserved already all we need is about 6 more.

 

There's 3 rooms reserved just from a few of us from Ohio, so 10 should be no problem (hopefully).

The contract has been signed earlier today, so please make reservations asap. Preferably before 6/15th so the the rooms can be connected with each other or at least in the same hallway.

 

So those of us already booked need to call and tell them we are with the group... but no one is answering lol.

i have to be honest i have a million things going on and im buying/moving into a house the weekend after maxus, so i havent done my homework until tonight.

so im guessing the 10 room reserve hasnt been met yet, or is that still in effect?
think rooms can still be reserved? i cant imagine a hotel filling up completely on some weekend that is two weeks ahead of the 4th of july.

I'll check up on them, last time I check there was appoximatly 4 rooms already taken. I'll check again with them to see how many rooms have been reserved. And remember not many have posted here that have or will reserve in the next few days.

 

Just reserved a room. $84 a night and they did know about Maxus.
