350z 18" rims on my 2K2 Max **PICS**

I recently replaced my 18" rims with some 350z 18" rims. I think the look is 100% better than the previous rims and the 30 offset really looks nice on the 5th gen. Please check out the pics below for the new and improved look.

Ahh.. It's so nice to see more and more people ditching their bulky looking chrome wheels, only to cross over to the choice looking wheels from the 350z, 6th gen Max, etc.

It looks awesome.

to me, it looks like the spokes are thicker on the 6th gen than the Z...it could just be me though...

So do you have 4 REAR Z wheels then? or are the 4 FRONT wheels?

The Z wheels he has are all one size, 18X8. The Z just uses different size tires front and rear.

True. Even though they are stamped Front and Rear the offset is the same as well as the rim size 18 x 8.

I think it just takes a little time, it took me about three months to catch this auction. Keep your eyes peeled and a good deal may come to you.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43958

Here is one, but I question the sizing he claims they are 18.5 x 8.5

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=66484

Here is a San Diego area only auction at a great price.

Your best bet is to buy some that do not come with tires.

I knew they were the same width, but I always thought they had different offsets front/back. Hmm...now I just wonder if these would clear BBK...

Just from looking and not taking any actual measurements, I think they would easily clear BBK.

heres some more info on the rims http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/Wheels_and_Tire.php

Also, like brett said , looking at the rims it appears that a BBK would clear easily with the rims.

brett what size tirs you put on them?

225/48/18 - these are the tires that I had on the other 18's. When it is time for a change I may switch to 245/40/18.

No rubbing when by myself and no rubbing with my wife and 3 year old in the back going over speed bumps.

Man. Wow. I like.

I can't even write a complete sentence. They look awesome. This may be my new favorite Max rim. I love rims that improve looks but don't scream "aftermarket". IMHO, these may even be a better match for the Max design than the G35 rims which appear to have a bit too much offset on some pics I've seen...though they both look excellent so I'm splitting hairs here.

Great catch!

I 2nd that....If only the 350z rims were polished!

Not Fair! I wish I can put my rims on! They are brand new and have been sitting in the basement for 3 months! and with the looks at our weather, they may be down there for much longer than I wanted.

Can anyone confirm that the 350Z wheels are the same offset for the front and rear wheels. I know the tire size is different, but I thought the offset was as well.

man, that looks really nice, the off set makes the wheels stick out just right.

My only gripe with the 350z wheels is that they're just a tad too heavy for me...I'm savin up for some light weight ssr competitions, only 16 lbs (and thats for an 18")
