Is that pin stripe going around the trunk lid stock, or did you get that done?

DMad tells the truth.

The first owner of my car went through the trouble (and expense) to have light blue pinstripes painted (not vinyl) and clearcoated on. The only way to remove them is to repaint the car or maybe spend a lot of money painting where the stripes are and trying to blend in the paint.

The second owner put that solid black pinstripe over the ghey light blue one. There are still some stripes on the spoiler and very light ones on the doors just above the belt line trim.

I am working on ditching the 4x4 look soon. Eibachs and Tokicos

Thanks, but it's not just a muffler. Everything is upgraded. Cattman y-pipe, Warpspeed test pipe when not using the stock cat, and full GReddy cat-back.

I should have mentioned my mods:

Cattman y-pipe
Warpspeed test pipe
Fidanza Flywheel
Eibach Springs
Tokico struts
ACT stage 1 clutch
Jeff92SE custom intake
ASP underdrive pulley w/gatorback belts
Centerline RPM forged 13.5 lb 17x7 rims
s13 steering wheel
AE shift ****
complete stereo system (no bose except the speaker grills)

I think it is an Alpine 9807. It was the cheapest one that played MP3s and had a sub pre out. I don't really need anything fancy.

An STS is on my long list of crap to do. I have owned this car for just over two years. It was bone stock when I bought it, except for it had a different Alpine CD player (using a peripheral adapter with the Bose speakers). I can only do so much so soon.

I have driven the car about 3k miles since I bought it. Oh, that's not a typo -- 3,000 miles in over two years.

It's from an s13 -- 91 240sx. It is kind of hard to find them with cruise control. There is also another wheel used in that car that is a little different (smaller). My steering wheel is the same as a non-airbag 300zx (z31), except the z31 has a "Z" in the center instead of the Nissan hamburger.

If the weather holds, racing the car at Woodburn (Ore) tomorrow. I stripped out some stuff (including the fogs) washed it and took a couple of extra pictures. This one, I kind of liked:

Nice shot Very dramatic. I would leave the foggers for the racing. Gives the 3rd gens that rugged look that American muscle cars enjoy

Is Woodburn a track?

i agree that the really tall shifter looks kinda weird, but if you get an STS, will it shorten it? i thought that the STS's only shortened the throw (hence the name, short throw shifter) and not the actual shifter itself....good luck with your car, and keep up the good work!

Woodburn is a city in Oregon south of Portland and it has a 1/4 mile dragstrip. The town is small, so it's mostly known for the track and an outlet store mall . I ended up with a 14.85, which is one of the better times for a 3rd gen on this board.

Actually, I took the fogs off a few weeks earlier when I had to go over a few mountain passes. I didn't want them to get broken and I just left them off.

Oh, the STS is shorter than stock, but not by a ton. I think mine also looks taller because the shift boot is sliding down some.

Yes, it is Aztec Red (paint code AG2). I am the third owner and my brother was the second owner. At least since 1998, it has been garaged, so it's still in pretty good shape.
