Here are a few shots of mine and my buddy's car. We got his wheels installed today and took a few shots. The Tein SS Coilovers are getting installed tomorrow so don't worry, we won't be riding around in the 4x4 very long
Anyways, here's some pics of Dave's '01 CL-S and a few with my car mixed in as well. Some of you guys may remember this car from a thread I posted with pics of his car with $14k+ in damages. Also a pic of his car without the wheels.

OEM Wheels After Repairs

Well, overall he's happy with the look, but EXTREMELY upset with these wheels that he purchased of a member on Acura-CL.com. One was completely trashed and WELDED on the inner lip and doesn't hold air. He was also not made aware of the quality, or lack of quality in this particular rim. He's basically out $1k+ and will not try to sell these as he isn't going to stick someone else with a set of pretty much useless wheels. He's called today and ordered a set of new wheels from RonJon. Also, the car is currently at the shop getting the Teins installed. More pics will come after the Teins are installed and the OEM wheels are back on. He doesn't really feel like carrying around an airtank and filling the damaged wheel every day.
Its sucks when people pawn off their defective products to let someone else worry about them when its their problem. It would be different if it was explained. How was he to know. Sell 3 and say the 4th is damaged or pick up a new one.
Well, today we picked the car back up after having 4 new 225/35/19 Toyo Prox 4's installed. Turns out that 3 out of 4 of the wheels are bent in one place or another, but none bad enough that they won't hold air. My buddy settled everything with the seller and is just trying to forget about what a mess this whole ordeal has been. He basically has lost faith in all internet buying at this point. But here are a few pics of the car today after the Tein SS Coilovers were installed. It's a bit overcast here today, so they aren't the best pics.

My buddy Dave says that my car is more responsive and pulls harder than his CL, but after driving both of them, I'd say if we went from a roll, it'd be pretty even.Originally Posted by ibag8rfan

My buddy went and had his new Neuspeed catback installed today. I took a few pics while it was being installed. 20 minutes and $20 later, it's looking pretty nice. Overall, the sound really hasn't changed very much from the Thermal R&D axle-backs that that were on the car, but I will say that it does look much better. The next mod he's debating about is picking up an Unorthodox UDP. Any thoughts/suggestions are welcome.

Chrome door handles = stock. I was kinda sceptical on the chrome wheels at first as well, and on any other color = :007 but they go well with the Sundance Gold.
My buddy decided to play around under the hood and have some paint-work done. Check out the pics.

I loved that Acura. It's soooo clean dude, just like a show quality car. I love those crome exhaust pipes. Well overall it's awsome.

That CL's exhaust looks incredible!
Has he had any tranny problems with the car? I was really wanting the exact same car until I read about alot of transmission failures so decided to look into maxima's instead.

my friend was sooo set on a 02 TL, like he was about to go to the dealer and buy the car untill he found out that it has alot of transmission problems, that an average owner replaces atleast 2-3 trannies in 100K miles.
Hes thinking of getting the I30T now.
Nope, no tranny issues, and he's just under 100k miles. He is a college recruiter and uses this car to travel all over Ohio. I'll have to show him some of your posts, he'll appreciate it.
While I was cleaning up my car, my buddy Dave stopped by. Snapped a couple of pics of his CL-S. He recently added this new grille insert.

Not really into those 2 cars, they're pretty boring. Don't dig the east coast style thing. Props for putting work into it though.

I'm guessing mod7 is the kind of wheels on the white maxima? Nothing special about those, since any wheel can have a "lip" if the spokes curve inwards like that. The manufacturer does it just for looks.Originally Posted by emmas97

To have a "dish" like you want, the whole face of the wheel needs to be sunken in, and that would be a true dish. No part of the wheel should come out too far.
