maxgtr2000 gets credit for the retrofit. The projectors themselves are aimed ok, it's just that these are new headlights (and ones not meant for the car, obviously) so they need aimed up a little (the headlights themselves).

Mine are actually custom. maxgtr2000 made them for me. So if you want to know, shoot him a PM.

Thanks for the compliments.

93turbogxe - Roughly $650, got parts from various sources like the .org and eBay. The retrofit work was done by maxgtr2000.

Not to sound negative but i don't really like them. I mean i'm all for the purpose of more visible road for the safety when driving and what not but i'm really not a fan of how the projectors look. If they could be done in those one piece lights ( ceifros or something whatever that means ) or even some of the black housed lights on custom enterprise i'd be all over them.

But anyway, i'm not trying to take anything away from you. Great job on the retrofit.

^ Takes awhile to get warmed up to projectors. They do look ugly in a way but then you look at it and realize "that's AWESOME yo!"

Main problem with proj's in a 4th gen is that it just doesn't fit with the rest of the car. But when you begin to respect the function of them, they start to get more and more appealing.

Think I'm gonna get a pair of OEM cefiros (which have an awesome beam pattern/cutoff) and try a set of H4 hi/lo 4300K or 5000K and see how that looks though. Fitting projectors takes away the slightly "friendly" look that the Max has normally, and I'm not ready to let it go yet.

Tatanko, it ain't easy to come up with this sort of cash at 17 (hell, not even at 20). Teh props for spending teh big monays on teh sicc lights! Enjoy those lights to the car's bitter end. They're awesome, and if I had the time/money right now, I'd be all over that shiet as well.

P.S. need more beam pattern pics! Don't forget high beams!

I understand completely what you mean. I'm all for function first but jeez i just don't like them lol I'm feeling the idea of the cefiros, if they can give a great look and beam pattern ( i don't think i've seen cefiros light pics ) i'm all for it.

How would that look any different from what I have now?

There will be beam pattern pics once they are aimed. They should be getting aimed this saturday, when I can finally get some help with it. Problem #2 is that my camera sucks

High beams...not sure when I'll be "getting" them. As stated above, maxgtr2000 is sending me a temp. harness and I have to wait to get my other one back to have high beams.

Yeah it does take a while to get warmed up to them. If you stand back and look at them they do look a little wierd but once those HID's come on.

Soon enough, soon enough. Stop distracting me haha. I still need to get a y-pipe, new knock sensor, and lower the car first

One mod at a time? More like one maintenance piece at a time

I'm doing a Valeo retrofit within the next month or so. I hope it turns out as good as yours did. Nice work.

Very nice. I got some E55s in smoked cefiros with demon eyes. I need to get some better pics and the aiming setup correctly.

Angel eyes were hooked up today, as well as I finally got around to aiming them a little. Probably still not high enough yet, but oh well. Not sure when my harness is getting back...

Pictures of the angel eyes tonight, though
