Hella FF75 Driving Lights

Just put 'em in today/tonight. I had to recharge my drill twice!

(This is my girlfriend's favorite... she says it looks like it's about to feast on its "prey" in front of it there)

The beam pattern is pretty good--I dunno if it's obvious, but the bumper is blocking some of the light, so I don't get the whole beam pattern yet (fooled around with them before mounting though, so I know what it really is... =). I need to get some sort of spacer device to use while remounting in order to lower the lights a little bit, then tap the correct beam this time (high beam instead of low beam... ), and then I'll post up some pics of the beam pattern.

Any opinions? I thought they would look sort of corny so I did my best to hide them, but they actually look pretty good IMO (when they're on, at least).

Why, to complement my high beams, of course! I'm not going to drive around with them on..

Okay, so the pics are here, although one of my headlights is now out. Oh well.

Keep in mind these are driving lights, not fog lights. q:

low beam (yes a single 9007 xtravision low beam):

high beam (single again...):

high beam + FF75s:

In fact, I like them so much that I'd like to get another pair (since they were $40 shipped...) but I wouldn't know where to mount them. Maybe if I got another pair I could space out my current driving lights or maybe have 4 or 5 of them running along my front air dam, like a mini light bar.

Oh well, at any rate, they basically make my highbeams moot. These lights are awesome, I found myself doing 75 in a 35 on some desolate mountain road at 1:30am and the lights gave me a ridiculous amount of confidence. Maybe later I'll find a piece of printer paper to hold in front of them or a nice even wall somewhere to get a beam pattern pic.

Defiantly a big differance with them on. I like them. I also like how all your lights match.
