Sping Time is here! New Ksports+Volks Pics

Hey guys,

I just got the ksports on a few weeks ago and it looks like spring time is here. So its time to de-winterize the max and put the Rims back on and bring it back to how i like it.

Should i go lower ?

Anyways, let me know what you think. How bad do i need a lip kit to finish it off? I think pretty bad. Stillen kit here i come..eventually.

edit: oh yeah, and that's the stock bumper. Pebble Beige stock bumper has werid Color Matchin

The ride still has to settle a bit, but its not too bad. I can feel it getting better and better though. The roads here suck though so. But the handling is AWESOME.

The height from ground to wheel to top of wheel well is about 25.5 inches. Its probably around a 4" drop i'm guessing.

Good call. But i don't know if they can do much better for the bumper. It seems all pebble beige maxima's have that problem, maybe mine worse than others. Must be the difference in material. But it wouldn't hurt to get it repainted.

SD's alright. The intersates around here have been refinished within the last 2 years. The county roads suck though, its torture driving on them with any stiff type of suspension. But in town, there's not a whole lotta dips and stuff i would have to worry about, but i would definately have to be careful. But on the bright side, you can't complain about the 75mph speed limit on the interstate and 70 on Hwys.

Ha! Going from GC to Ksport, i don't know what stock feels anymore.

yeah, i definately forgot about a nasty dip on one road today when driving around and got my a$$ off the ground...that was fun. You sure have to pay a little more attention...but its worth it being able to corner on rails.

Looks good, love the wheels and drop.

Last summer I was lowered a little less then you (3-4") and ended up screwing up a CV joint so this summer when the D2s go back in its ony going to be around 2-3" .

It is here. Hasnt snowed in a long time.

I celebrated the beginning of spring by going out and buying $100 worth of detailing compounds, and then layed down some rubber from my Q45 at the nearest large parking lot.

Looks great man! I dunno why, but my bumper isn't mismatched, maybe a very little tiny bit.

Pebble Beige isn't all that bad anymore after you drop it, tint, and rims. Yours is freaking sweet, probably the best pebble beige on the org.

Thanks for the comments!
I dunno what it is about the bumper. Maybe i'll just get it repainted when i do the kit. Who knows.

Now i need to clean that interior. Here's a shot of it kinda clean. A few touches: I put in leather seats, leather door panels, AE shift **** (now installed) and that's about it.

Here's a night shot, kinda showing the 7K HIDS and the Yellow Fogs.

You should see the underbody of the car...so clean. Compared to the usual southdakota winterized dirty underbody of other cars around here.
