E46 bi-xenons, I think my friend is jealous of them

We haven't really "ran" per se, but we messed around on the highway earlier and neither really seemed to be able pull away from the other

Yeah, I pretty much destroy him off the line and I'm able to atleast keep up on the highway (considering I'm like 99% stock and he's a 6-speed, that's not bad).

People rave about the TSX handling, and yes it's pretty good...but only because it's got factory strut bars and 17" wheels. I've got an FSTB on otherwise stock suspension, and due to my lower weight my car handles almost as well.

It would be a nice choice for a NEW car, but ehh...I don't see what all the hype is

I agree, I think a 4th or 5th gen would look great in that color.

'06 TSX comes with fogs FTW.

Standard HIDS sun roof, leather front driver, passenger, side curtin airbags FTW

Optional touch screen, voice activated/command navigation FTW

Bluetooth FTW

memory option seats FTW

For under 30k, you're getting everything fully loaded. An entry luxury sedan gives all kinds of great reviews all over the place. The only problem i can see is the lack of power out of the box.

6-speed + Hondata flash + comptech rear strut bar + Turbo = teh ******* win.

For 30k it measures up to be the "best bang for your buck."

Sure, you can spend another 10k for the Lexus IS 250, Audi A3, or low level bimmer. But that's the base price...the minute you add the sunroof, navigation, etc etc, look at paying somewhere close to 40-45k.

I was in your same position before i actually RESEARCHED it. In my ignorant stage, I was thinking "Dur, it's only 4 cylinders...whats so special about it?" I would suggest to do a little research first before you are biased about it.

I'll be honest. I REALLY thought the same thing before I researched the TSX.

And of course you whooped his assss on the highway. You have an extra 2 cylinders to work with while the TSX has sh!tty torque. A hondata reflash and CAI and it may be a different story.

Keep up? Is he not redlining it? I'll drive his car and race you next time I'm in PA. You'll see how gearing makes a big difference. You could not be more wrong about the handling either.

..you have to remember though, it's a 10 year newer car.

I'm confident a TSX 6spd will beat an auto 4th gen on the highway.

Anyway--nice projectors. Now lower it! ...and i like the night shots in the rain

He's eventually doing some minor mods to it so he doesn't void his warranty, but still add some fun. He's gotta get a job first though

Yes, he redlines it constantly...many times unintentional. And yeah, it's 10 years newer...that definitely helps.

It'll be lowered once I get my little audio things out of the way

When you coming to PA next? I want to see the S

LOL what does he want on his car? I don't see him modding it more than spoiler/tints and maybe a lip. What do you mean unintentional? I'll probably come after the semester is over--possibly May.

What does he want? He'd like to get something similar to the Comptech intake (with the box and stuff) and he wants to lower it and get the OEM lip kit.

By unintentional I mean he downshifts to the wrong gear often enough to where he's at like 6500 RPM when he downshifts.

May? Sweet.

holy crap - thats a misshift. Luckily he isn't going fast enough in a certain gear or else he'd blow his engine. Time to scold him.
