My new wheels (350Z)

I just put my new wheels on my max. I'll get some pictures tomorrow in the sun but for now.....what do you think?

Again, I know it's a very bad pic, but I'll get a better one tomorrow.

I will be buying some Eibach springs to get the nose down.

Aren't those the same optional chrome wheels for the '06? At least that's what it looks like on the catalog

those apear to be the limited edition 350Z wheels from the 300horse Z, which should help out all these people stating that the 350 wheels will not fit due to the offset on the max.

They are off of an 06 and I believe they are standard for the 06s. They are staggard with 18X8 front and 18X8.5 rear. I put 245/40/18s in front and 255/40/18s in the rear. Yeah it needs lowered BAD!!

Thanks for the comments.

I paid $300 for all four brand new Z wheels so I figured if they didn't fit, I could sell them. I'm into the set $1,100 with the brand new tires. I think I could resell them for at least that.

I had done a photoshop concept with the Z wheels a while back. Here is what it will look like once you lower it. The Z wheels compliment the Maxima well. I also added the Z Brembo brake system, a front spoiler, and side sills.

I am working on an image showing the same concept mods from a different angle.

Where did you get the wheels from?

Oh, and yes, those wheels are standard on all '06 Z cars. In '05 they were introduced only on the 35th Anniversary and Track editions. Like previous Z wheels, they are fabricated by RAYS engineering.

Cool picture!

I bought them from a local dealer as "take-offs". I've been buying so many parts from them to get my car on the road and the guy helping me was very cool.

Hey, what happened to your right front fender/panel? Were you in an accident? I'm talking about the difference in color.

I bought my car as a theft recovery. They stripped the entire interior, wheels, and front clip off of the car. I'll get it painted within the next few weeks. I have the new rear bumper in my garage also.

On a side note: I'm so dam pissed off at Ebay people. I've won too driver's side HID headlights within the last two weeks. The first one was advertised as HID but wasn't and the other I got today had broken tabs and a loose lens inside. I'm out over $700 for the two headlights and just won another a few minutes ago. It's the ONLY part of my car that is holding me back from driving it legally (need a lamp and brake inspection to register).

Sorry to hear that man. Did you check their feedback before you ordered? Usually, if their feedback is under 99.5, I would be skeptical. Good luck with your new order, hope this time it's good.

They look sick but a little too small. I dont think they suit the 6th gen that well.

Now a 4th gen . . .

Well, I think they have the look I was going for. I wanted to make it look as it would if Nissan had a more factory sport model then the SE. Not too flashy but not stock. Just clean sporty.
