New pics of the 2k2 with 19's back on

Well I'm happy to finally put the car back to summer mode, so I thought I'd share some pics. The pics were taken at the University of Toronto car show that I helped organize. Before anyone asks, no the girl isn't my gf, she was a friend of a friend that offered to model for free for us.

It's an R32 Golf. The guy is from Connecticut but studying in Toronto.

The girl is half German, half Pakistani

I was quite lucky actually. I got lazy & kept the front lip on but we didn't get such a bad winter so it's still in good shape.

Yup, she is M1RAG3's friend who volunteered to model for us. Me and M1RAG3 go to the same school in Toronto & parked beside each other at the show.

Yup, I shaved & bondo'd the oem grill a while back to get rid of the hamburger emblem. It was pretty difficult to do but I wanted to be different.

As for M1RAG3's comment about our Maxima's not getting any attention, it was true. The Bimmers, Toyota's and Honda's were getting all the love at our little show. It's okay, they'll come around eventually...lol

Hella clean man...lovin what you did with the front grill, goes well with the black housing headlights. Axis 5-spoke design rims always look great on a 5th gen....all around great looking ride.

Looking good Nathan! Too bad you didn't have those on back in February, lol. I'm going to be down in a few weeks so maybe we can have some kind of meet then...in a more upscale establishment? lol

lol...what was wrong with that bar we went to? Too ghetto for you? I thought it was okay. Next time we'll take Bryan's advice and eat like a king...BK that is

I'll make sure to get an alignment done before you come down so you won't laugh at me. My steering wheel is so off.

The bar was great but that shady restaurant was weird...I was convinced the police were going to storm in and arrest everybody, lol

Gonna bring my Maxima down for the show and shine at Brampton North Nissan...and don't worry about the steering wheel...everybody will be distracted by my huge wheel gap, lol.

Ohhh, that restaurant. Yeah I hated it, Shaun had the worst idea of going there. I too thought the place was going to get raided by the cops for illegal activity...lol

So when's this show & shine happening?

I had to pack my clothes in another part of my suitcase cause they smelt so bad after being in that place, lol.

Meet is June 4th...I'm coming down to hopefully find a house/condo. Johnnyo made a thread about it on TMEC and its supposed to be pretty big.

I'm not usually a fan of 19's, but those wheels look outstanding on your car. Truly one of the cleanest, most stylish white maximas I've ever seen. Nice job.

No spacers in the rear. They are 35mm offset wheels. I've been debating all year whether to get 15-20mm spacers to really push them out. What do you guys think?

Well, I am looking to get mine inline with the wheel wells, not out side of them, was just wondering what size spacers I should get.

I think it would look good...even more aggressive. But wont you need longer wheel studs for those kind of spacers?
