K, so I did a few mods in the last few months here is the sum of them.

Wilwood BBK 13.6" two piece rotors, 4 Pot Superlite Caliper, Alumi Brackets
Nismo 19" rims, Toyo T1r 255/40/r19 tires (oversize but stick like hell).
Injen CAI insulating kit, helps keep intake temps down (no pics).

I really like the way Deus's car turned out, so I'm kinda following suit, going all stealth wise...... ENJOY!

Do you have or does the company that made the BBK have a brake profile. Reason I ask is cause I was looking at getting the nismo wheels for my 5th gen but using the 300zx calipers. If the calipers are roughly the same size it would give me an idea if the 300zx would clear.

What pads are you running? I see you had to do a bit of trimming around the center pin/support. I've had to do that on all of the non-Wilwood pads I've used (Ferodo, carbotech, etc), but would think the Wilwood pads would fit without problems.

also, where'd you get the hats? They do the job, but they're kinda fugly.

The hats are came from fastbrakes.com they look stupid but are very preciesely made. I use a micrometer at almost every retainer hole and they were spot on.

The pics came out so-so, because my Canon was charging so I just pulled the card out of it and stuffed it into my Samsung that I keep in the car to take pics of accidents. (Free camera won at work its chuned but its free so f... it.)

The brakes are amazing and the tires being 255 instead of recomended 245 stick like glue and fill in the gap even better.

Its the water heater wrap. Works bloody wonders. I had this on my Olds when the CAI was made out of flex duct for a dryer. So I applied the concept to this............

how much did the bbk cost u? i've been to wilwood's site before but i dont think they even have any kits for nissan's........

By the way, my 300zx pads are almost identical in size to your Wilwood pads!!
My Z pads are 4.69"x2.45". Ur Wilwoods are 4.74"x2.43".

Looks good. Time for cat-back and Eibachs.

 

No eibach noise issues for me, I like my cattman springs. Catback I'm hoping will come in June or July along with ECU.
Going with REMUS midmuffler, and dual tip REMUS mufflers.

I had to jam up the brakes on the street a person decided to make a last second left turn and stopped short on a green light. To say the least THANK GOD FOR WILLWOODS, I pressed them up hard and the car just halted. I still had plenty of clearance to stop but it was a good feeling to know that thease babies work as advertised.

Kam: I found similar material to insulate the intake from Lowe's. But I notice that my Stillen intake doesnt get that warm. Maybe its cuz I have the factory cold air intake directed at the air filter. Im still gonna put it on cuz i prolly get heat soak when its really warm out.

 

Believe me, it gets hot. After every half hour session on the track I would park the car and open the hood to cool off the engine and components. And that bloody intake stayed hot. Its nice and cool now, I also find that on a warm day after a half day of driving the egine gets a slight knock.

With the insulating wrap the knock is almost none existent. I dont mean valvetrain sound I mean knock knock.

Its funny how such a small and inexpensive mod can work wonders like that.

By the way, I'm racing my car in a high speed time autocross next weekend in Lone Pine, CA like I did last year. Im sure it will be helpful for heat reduction for that.

nismo/toyo combo looks great on the car, i cant believe the wheel/tire combo is 50 big ones but you are rolling on 19's, looks good though.

Fair Enough, reason I went with Cattmans is because I researched here a lot and heard nothing but negative feed back on them. If you search for EIBACH in the 6th gen forum all you will find is problems with noises. Anywhoo, I love the cattman setup, I think I will do the Koni adjustables next for a touch more responsiveness.

Car looks good...particularly the brakes. I would say one thing though - please get rid of the "Maxima 3.5 SE" stickers on the bottom of the bumper and sides of car....those are kind of cheesy...

 

nice wheels and I love the BBK...IMO get rid of the splash gaurds
